Meet Hoodstar Dreamz

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Hoodstar Dreamz a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hoodstar, thank you so much for making time for us today. We can’t wait to dive into your story and the lessons you’ve learned along the way, but maybe we can start with something foundational to your success. How have you gone about developing your ability to communicate effectively?
Networking… Originally being fresh out of Prison after 10years, I was highly anti-social. But it didn’t make sense, to be standoffish to People liking & wanting to support my music, so I had to break that habit & show love back to my supporters!

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I create versatile music for different genres & I model under the Brand “Never Idle”, I also Have a few Sponsors “Under Raps Magazine” & “504DymesMagazine” who help me grow through networking.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Consistency, Networking & Travel. Never let someone dictate how to go about following your dreams & goals. Find mentors who give you good advice because they want you to win & be successful.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
Visuals(Music Videos) Lack of good Business with local videographers has me behind on This aspect. So it’ll be my Primary focus this year & also a worldstar feature.
