Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Hua Ye. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hua, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?
I keep my creativity alive by being curious about various topics, checking out other artists’ works, and appreciating the little scenes around me daily. All the elements that I could gather will transform into thumbnails and sketches and then become the foundation of my creativity.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, resilience allowed me to navigate setbacks with adaptability. Curiosity let me continuously learning and innovate, Determination kept me focused on long-term goals despite obstacles. Cultivate resilience by reframing failures as feedback. Nurture curiosity through intentional exploration and strengthen determination by breaking big visions into daily actions—progress compounds.
