We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Huncho Henderson a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Huncho, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from both of my parents, my mom is not only a giving person , but also ambitious. My father was a very smart business man as well , he built a company from the bottom that became very successful . So i get my drive and ambition from them.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m Huncho Henderson i’m an Actor and Producer from Los Angeles , California . I’m most excited about the journey of this whole thing . Meeting my idols along the way is exciting as well . As a kid i looked up to Denzel Washington , Eddie Murphy , and Adam Sandler. So meeting those guys and working with them one day would be major. Also excited to see films i’m in come to life. As far as projects i have a movie Trading Soles coming out in 2024. And a movie i’m starring in called Weekend Security, we start production for that in 2024.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
As far as skills and knowledge , i think just practicing and taking your time. Don’t rush the process, things will happen the way they are supposed to. Stay focused , and most of all be consistent.
What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
Just being good parents , i’d say since i was born they have been supportive of anything i did , from sports to school events to ideas. Always showing up always supporting me. Those are things you never forget as a kid so those things were very impactful.
