Meet IazY

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to IazY. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

IazY, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I get my work ethic from my family. I grew up surrounded by people who’ve always worked hard and sacrificed a lot so that I could have the opportunities I have today. Seeing their dedication and perseverance taught me the value of putting in effort and never taking anything for granted. That’s why I put my all into my music, because I know the work and sacrifices that made it possible for me to chase my dreams.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I started doing music when I was 14, but I’ve really been surrounded by it my whole life. Music has always been a part of who I am, something that lets me express myself in ways words alone can’t. I fell in love with writing and creating songs, especially in the rock and pop genres, because they take me into another world where I can be completely free.

What excites me most about making music is how it connects people. Whether it’s through the lyrics, the sound, or the energy, I love knowing that something I create can make someone feel understood or inspired. My goal with my music is to build that kind of emotional connection and to show others that it’s okay to be vulnerable and real.
Right now, I’m focused on continuing to grow as an artist, writing more music, experimenting with new sounds, and sharing my story through every song I release.

My newest song “Batman” is out now, I wrote and produced it myself, which makes it even more special to me. I’m also expanding my presence across platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I think the three qualities that have been most impactful and still are in my journey are discipline, creativity, and patience.

Discipline has been huge for me because making music isn’t just about inspiration it’s about consistency. There are days when ideas don’t flow, but showing up and putting in the work anyway is what helps you grow. That mindset still pushes me every day to keep improving and stay dedicated to my craft.

Creativity has always been at the heart of what I do. I’ve learned that the best ideas come when you’re not afraid to experiment or take risks with your sound. Staying creative keeps me inspired and reminds me why I started in the first place.

And patience might be the hardest but most important one. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, it takes time to find your sound, build confidence, and connect with the right audience. Even now, I remind myself that everything happens at the pace it’s meant to.

For anyone just starting out, my advice would be: stay consistent, stay open minded, and don’t rush your process. Every song, every setback, and every small win is part of what shapes you into the artist you’re meant to become.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?

When I feel overwhelmed, I usually take a step back and remind myself why I started doing music in the first place.

Sometimes I’ll just put my phone down, go for a walk, or listen to songs that inspire me, it helps me reconnect with that original love for creating. I’ve learned that forcing creativity when you’re stressed never feels right, so giving myself space to breathe usually brings the ideas back naturally.

My advice would be, don’t be afraid to slow down. It’s okay to take breaks and protect your peace, that’s part of the process. The best music comes from a real place, and you can’t reach that if you’re burnt out. Trust your timing, take care of your mind, and the inspiration always finds its way back.
