Iconic, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
The key lies in staying inspired, embracing innovation, and nurturing our imagination. By exploring new ideas, seeking out diverse perspectives, and allowing ourselves the freedom to think outside the box, we can continue to fuel our creative spark and keep it burning bright.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
We are a full service pinup photography studio, offering makeup, hairstyling, wardrobe and backdrops. We have been transforming women into the most glamorous versions of themselves for 15 years, and have been featured on local news channels and magazines. Our motto is “from average gal to femme fatale”, and we have transformed over 4000 women during the last 15 years! This is an empowering experience, and affords people from everyday walks of life, in all shapes and sizes, the opportunity to embrace their inner pinup girl! It is a very pampering experience, and we lucky to boast many repeat visitors. They get full makeup and hairstyling and a vintage photoshoot experience, complete with retouched images to take home.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The 3 qualities: tenacity, because it takes at least 2 years to see a profit, synergy between creative partners and the customers, and joy and fun in the process! We feel we have had to be fearless because we were approaching news channels and risking rejection.
Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
After 15 years in business we are always in the process of offering new options to customers. We want to keep the products new and fresh in a changing marketplace, and to attract repeat visitors with new offerings, new packages and new sets. We are currently collaborating with owners of on location sets to offer a new variety of shooting environments. We are exploring new digital artwork packages to keep people engaged and interested. The vintage marketplace and culture is always evolving, and we are trying to keep up with current trends.
