Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Igor Tsigelman. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Igor, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I’m a firm believer that life is all about challenges that need to be overcome. From birth we are presented with these challenges, what drives me and gives me the resilience first and foremost is my faith, then my family. I know roads get rocky, but I am also aware that if you were brought to it, you’ll get through it. There is no such thing in life as a problem without a solution and I’ve grown to think in ways that when a problem arises I’m automatically prone to start thinking of ways to solve the problem. Much too often there is more than one way and then it becomes another challenge to figure out which is the most efficient and effective. Some of my biggest accomplishments, and mind you success is measured in various forms, so to myself my accomplishments have been plentiful and not always monetary.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I would consider myself a professional relationship builder. Having been working since I’m 11 years old, my professional career took form early on in various management roles from McDonalds to others. My management experience led me to sales and that is truly where my professional career took off, however I had various stints in other industries, particularly as a NYC nightlife promoter in my early 20s, I managed to build relationships that have come full circle and have led to the development of Homewerx Music Incorporated; which began as a project with my partner Edmund “Sizzahandz” Bini of “Crooklyn Clan” prominence. We created this project in the heart of the COVID pandemic as a way to provide bedroom producers and artist an avenue to release their bodies of musical works that fall within the various subgenres of House and Techno music (or Electronic Dance Music as it is called today). This project has been a great success with astronomical growth and we foresee a continued trend. Our artist catalog continues to grow and we are seeing artist from across the globe. There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Folks, you are only as strong as your network! Remember to cast your net and let it work! The reality is your next step in life is most probably awaiting you within your sphere of influence and you simply don’t know it yet. I had met my partner Sizzahandz back in the days of when I was working in the club scene, I would have never imagined 20 years later we would be partners in a business venture that owns and operates 2 record labels as well as a website and branded merchandise. Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

G-d has been most helpful, I am a man of faith and it is my unwavering belief that I am in good hands and that the roads ahead of me, however difficult they may be, lead to beautiful destinations. Remember, those castaway marvels that G-d has created for us to enjoy when we stumble upon them, are most always preceded by a long and tedious journey to get to that destination. With that said, my advise is to find time to meditate, deep breathing exercise, as well as regular physical activity, coupled with an unwavering belief in oneself and their abilities and the knowledge that everything in life is a test of your faith; so believe in yourself and the powers that be; and all else will be fine! After G-d, of course there’s family. I am blessed to have a wonderfully supportive wife who supports my wild and crazy adventures; but if you believe in yourself, first and foremost, why wouldn’t anyone else believe in you! Baby, I love you and I’m glad you do! Beside every good man, is a stronger woman! And of course, my four wonderful kids that drive me daily to be the best that I can be and work on continuous improvement. So please remember, 1^365 = 37.8 or in other words, if you work on improving yourself one percent a day for a year, you’ll be 37.8% better by the end of that year at anything you continuously try and improve yourself in daily by a minimum of one percent.
