We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ihab Judeh. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ihab below.
Ihab, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I developed my confidence and self-esteem gradually over time through a mix of practice, mindset shifts, and surrounding myself with the right people.
Building on small wins: I started by focusing on little achievements and keeping promises to myself. Each success, no matter how small, gave me proof that I was capable and reliable.
Gaining competence: The more I learned and practiced in my work and personal life, the more confidence followed. I realized that preparation and effort are what create confidence, not waiting for it to show up first.
Changing my perspective on failure: Instead of seeing mistakes as proof I wasn’t good enough, I began treating them as lessons. Every setback became an opportunity to learn and improve, which took away a lot of fear.
Positive self-talk and environment: I made a conscious effort to replace negative thoughts with more constructive ones and surrounded myself with supportive people who pushed me forward.
Living by my values: Confidence for me also comes from alignment — when my actions match my values, I feel grounded and respect myself, no matter the outcome.
Altogether, it wasn’t one single moment but a process of consistently building trust in myself.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I run Nailoscope, a nail spa in San Diego where we focus on more than just great nails — we create an experience. What excites me most is blending artistry with hospitality. From complimentary drinks to personalized care, we make sure every client feels relaxed, appreciated, and a little pampered.
What makes us special is our team. Our nail artists bring incredible talent and creativity, while our front desk keeps everything running smoothly so clients feel at home the moment they walk in.
We’ve recently expanded beyond nails to offer facials, waxing, and eyelash services, and we’re always adding seasonal touches — like new polish collections or special drinks — to keep things fun and fresh. Looking ahead, we’re excited about partnering with local influencers and our community to spread the word even further.
At the end of the day, our mission is simple: helping people look and feel their best, every single time they visit.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three things that shaped my journey most were:
Resilience – Things don’t always go as planned, whether in business or personal growth. Being able to adapt, learn, and keep moving forward made all the difference.
People skills – Success is built on relationships. Listening, communicating, and building trust with both clients and team members created a foundation for growth.
Continuous learning – I made it a priority to stay curious, whether that meant learning new marketing strategies, understanding customer preferences, or picking up industry trends.
My advice for anyone starting out:
Don’t be afraid to fail — view it as feedback.
Surround yourself with people who push you to be better.
Invest in yourself by building skills and knowledge step by step.
Confidence and expertise don’t show up overnight — they grow from consistent effort and being open to learning along the way.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Yes, absolutely. At Nailoscope, we’re always open to collaborating with people and brands that share our passion for beauty, wellness, and creating memorable experiences. Right now, we’re especially interested in connecting with:
