We were lucky to catch up with Ilias Anwar recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ilias , looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My parents, they are immigrants who came here from a third-world country and left everything from their previous life so that I could have better opportunities.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I founded a creative agency called TCC Entertainment, and what’s most exciting about it is the endless potential for storytelling and innovation. We work on a wide range of projects, from music and event promotion to content creation and artist management. What sets us apart is our dedication to pushing boundaries and exploring new ways to connect with audiences.
At Tapped AI, we’ve pioneered the concept of the “AI Record Label.” It’s a revolutionary approach that harnesses artificial intelligence to discover and nurture exceptional talent in the music world. We’ve created a platform where aspiring artists can showcase their work, connect with industry professionals, and get their music heard by a global audience. It’s all about democratizing the music industry and giving talented artists the opportunities they deserve.
Now, let’s talk about “Cheat Codes,” my book. This project is very close to my heart because it’s a way for me to share my knowledge and experiences in the world of social media marketing. “Cheat Codes” isn’t just a book; it’s a guide that helps individuals and businesses navigate the complex landscape of social media.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Some of the best advice I got from one of my mentors was to never focus on networking up. The people who will get you to the level of success you need are the people right next to you. Invest in the people around you and the people who are building something right now. One day, they will have their own empire and the help you gave them will mean more to them then someone already established.
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
I play Madden Franchise mode, I know it sounds stupid but that game is so good at helping me get my mind off things.
