Meet Inara Ali

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Inara Ali. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Inara below.

Inara, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

For me, confidence didn’t come all at once — I grew into it over time.
Ever since I was little, I was always around my parents when they talked about real estate, business deals, and big ideas. I didn’t fully understand it back then, but I was always curious.

They never made it feel like a boring lesson — they turned it into something fun, like a game. I’d ask questions, walk job sites, and listen in on conversations. Slowly, I started picking up terms, strategies, and most importantly, the mindset. 🔑

As I got older, I realized I wanted to be part of those conversations — and eventually, lead some of my own. That’s when I asked my parents if I could start sharing what I’ve learned online. That moment gave me the first real push toward believing in myself.

From there, I just kept showing up. Whether I was posting videos, asking “big” questions, or trying something new, I learned that confidence comes from doing — even when you’re nervous. 💬💛

I’ve learned to trust my voice, own my ideas, and not be afraid of standing out. Because I’d rather try and grow than sit and wonder “what if.”

Confidence doesn’t mean you never doubt yourself — it means you keep going anyway.
And I’m still going… because I’m always here — and YOU GOT THIS! 💪✨

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Hi! I’m Inara Ali — I’m 14 years old and on a mission to make real estate and business fun and understandable for teens (and adults too)! 🎥🏡📚

I started creating content because I realized most people my age don’t get taught about money, investing, or real estate — so I decided to change that. I’ve been learning from my parents for as long as I can remember. They didn’t make it feel like “school” — it was more like a game. I got to be part of projects, learn new terms, visit job sites, and ask a lot of questions. Over time, I grew into it… and now I’m building my own path in real estate and entrepreneurship.

One of my favorite memories was at 8 years old when I made a hand-drawn sketch to help design a truck stop my family was building — and we actually used that design to build it! That moment sparked my love for architecture and development. And now, I’m gearing up for my first real project — developing a duplex from the ground up! I’ve been helping plan layouts, understand costs, and learn the process hands-on. 🤓🛠️

Aside from real estate, I love interviewing amazing people — from top real estate pros to Emmy-nominated journalists. I’ve gotten to speak with people like Sharron Melton from CW39 and Omar Warrad, who started from humble beginnings and now builds EV charging stations for Amazon. Those conversations are full of gems, and I love sharing them to inspire others.

I also love being active! I play softball and love being outdoors. It keeps me grounded, focused, and motivated. 💪🥎

As for what’s next? I’m working on expanding my platform, sharing even more fun and educational content, and helping more teens feel like they can learn about this stuff too. I believe you’re never too young to get started.

And like I always say…
✨ I’m always here — and YOU GOT THIS! ✨

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1. Curiosity – I ask a lot of questions. Whether it’s about real estate terms, construction, business strategies, or even mindset tips, I’m always trying to learn more. I think staying curious and never being afraid to say, “Can you explain that to me?” is a superpower. My advice? Don’t pretend to know everything—just be eager to learn.

2. Consistency – Showing up again and again, even on the days I’m tired, busy with school, or unsure of what to post, has made the biggest difference. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about being present. The best way to improve anything (real estate, public speaking, content creation) is just by doing it often.

3. Confidence through Experience – I didn’t start off confident—I built it over time by trying things, making mistakes, and figuring it out. From helping my parents with their projects to stepping into my own first duplex development, I’ve learned that confidence isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you earn by taking action.

My advice to anyone just starting out is:
Be bold, stay consistent, and ask all the questions. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to start.

And remember… I’m always here—and YOU GOT THIS!

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

Honestly, it’s a two-part answer.

First, they helped me shift my mindset from “I can’t” or “I won’t” to “I don’t know yet,” “Let me figure it out,” or “I can do this.” That small change made a huge difference in how I see challenges. It taught me to believe in myself, stay curious, and never underestimate what I’m capable of—even when something feels hard.

Second, they always treated me like I could achieve anything. I wasn’t talked to like a baby or given limits based on my age. I didn’t even use a pacifier as a kid! From the start, they made me feel like I could do big things, and because of that… I truly believe I will.

That belief—knowing I’m capable even when I’m still learning—is the biggest gift they could’ve given me.
