We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ingrid Pagliarulo. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with ingrid below.
Ingrid, thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.
My parents taught me that giving is important. And it doesn’t take anything away from you. Through Low Pulse Project and Napulitanamente, I try to contribute to the spread of culture and beauty—in my opinion, the only weapons to improve and combat internal poverty and widespread ignorance—by sharing the Mediterranean cultural heritage and offering free promotion to talents from the Mediterranean region.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
On July 31st, Napulitanamente proudly celebrated its fifth anniversary. Over these five years, we have wholeheartedly dedicated ourselves to our core mission: preserving and sharing the rich heritage of Mediterranean culture, while offering free promotion to talented artists from across the region.
Some of you may already be familiar with Napulitanamente. For those of you who are new to us, we are more than just a luxury publication: part book, part magazine. Napulitanamente is a dynamic platform and a valuable tool for cultural dissemination. Through a wide range of collateral projects, we expand our reach, offering artists more opportunities to showcase their work and connect with a wider audience.
One of Napulitanamente’s collateral projects is called Mediterranean Cocktail of Art. It is a multi-arts event that showcases the talent and beauty of the region. The first MCoA took place in 2023 in Hollywood. The success of the debut brought me luck, so this spring we were able to present it over six dates in two iconic Italian cities: Naples and Tropea.
Over the course of six evenings, 22 talented artists presented their works in eight different artistic disciplines: painting, sculpture, film, photography, poetry, music, theater, and mixology.
Each evening was a celebration of elegance and creativity, bringing artists and audiences together in a shared experience of beauty and cultural exchange through art exhibitions, daytime and nighttime performances, and local drinks. The atmosphere was vibrant and inspiring, a true testament to the richness of Mediterranean art.
It was a lot of work, it’s true, but it was worth it, and I was also supported by the in-kind sponsorship of local companies such as:
Tropis Hotel & Wellness Center (IT); Madison Cafè (IT); Plumb by VS Spirits (IT); Vecchio Amaro del Capo “Red Hot Edition” by Caffo (IT); Parvafolium CA., (U.S.A.); Arca’s Teatro (IT); TeatroTV (IT); Michele De Chiara (IT); Kbirr-Napoli (IT); Rewind Restaurant (IT); Copy System -(IT); Piccola Galleria Resistente (IT); Ginberg (IT).
Everyone in the editorial team is very satisfied and grateful for the wonderful hospitality and the connections created, and we look forward to sharing the video highlights of this extraordinary adventure with you soon.
We’ll have to wait until the fall, though.
In fact, excerpts from the event evenings will be broadcast in fall 2025 on TeatroTV and distributed on: CiaoUSATV, Coolstreaming.us, OrbitTV, and LocalTV.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I consider myself fortunate to come from a family with a strong artistic background. My classical education, with degrees in history and philosophy, has provided me with a solid foundation, while my extensive experience in entertainment, tourism, and hospitality has enriched my perspective and skills.
And then, of course, there is Napoli. I hesitate to sound cliché, but being born in this extraordinary city—perched atop the Solfatara megavolcano and embraced by the ever-watchful Vesuvius—instills a unique sense of precariousness. Living in such a dynamic environment teaches you to adapt, to reinvent yourself, and to reorganize your life as circumstances change. It encourages a spirit of constant movement and evolution.
All of these elements—my heritage, education, professional journey, and the vibrant energy of Napoli—have played a significant role in shaping my approach and contributing to the success of everything I do

Do you think it’s better to go all in on our strengths or to try to be more well-rounded by investing effort on improving areas you aren’t as strong in?
Given that every case is unique, and so are everyone’s needs, I’d personally say both approaches are valuable. There have been times in my journey when I’ve chosen to focus entirely on my strengths, honing what I do best. At other times, I’ve deliberately specialized in areas where I felt less proficient, seeking to turn weaknesses into new skills.
Continuous learning is always beneficial—especially when it comes to understanding aspects that are less familiar. This commitment to study and self-improvement is essential for gaining a holistic, more complete, and ultimately more solid perspective.
