Meet Isa Franchitto

We were lucky to catch up with Isa Franchitto recently and have shared our conversation below.

Isa, thank you so much for making time for us. We’ve always admired your ability to take risks and so maybe we can kick things off with a discussion around how you developed your ability to take and bear risk?

I developed my ability to take risks because I stopped caring about other people’s opinions. At some point, I realized that freedom is essential to who I am and to my art. I love making my own decisions, even when they’re risky, because that’s where growth happens. As a singer, taking risks allows me to be honest, to explore new sounds, and to express my truth without fear. I’d rather fail being myself than succeed trying to please everyone.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I’m a singer and songwriter who finds inspiration in poetry, spirituality, and everyday life. I love reading poems and letting words guide my emotions, which often turns into music. Spirituality plays a big role in my creative process — it helps me stay connected, grounded, and open to intuition.
My art is about choosing to see the brighter, happier side of the road, even when life isn’t perfect. I believe music can be healing, honest, and freeing at the same time. Through my songs, I try to create a space where people can feel understood, inspired, and less alone.
This year is especially exciting because I have many projects in progress. I’m working on new music and creative releases that reflect my growth as an artist and as a person. There’s a lot coming, and I’m excited to share this new chapter with everyone.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, the three most impactful things in my journey were self-trust, discipline, and emotional awareness.
Self-trust allowed me to take risks and make decisions without being paralyzed by other people’s opinions. Learning to believe in my own voice — artistically and personally — changed everything.
Discipline helped turn inspiration into real work. Creativity is powerful, but consistency is what builds a career. Showing up even on days without motivation made my growth visible over time.
Emotional awareness shaped my songwriting. Understanding my feelings, my spirituality, and my experiences allowed me to create music that feels honest and relatable. That depth is what connects art to people.
My advice to anyone early in their journey is to be patient with yourself. Protect your authenticity, practice your craft daily, and don’t be afraid to evolve. Learn from others, but don’t compare your path to anyone else’s — your uniqueness is your greatest strength.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?

The number one challenge I’m currently facing is anxiety. It can show up when expectations are high or when I’m stepping into new spaces creatively. Instead of letting it stop me, I’m learning to work with it rather than against it.
I manage it through grounding practices, spirituality, writing, and staying connected to my purpose. Music itself is a big part of my healing process — turning anxiety into lyrics and melodies helps me release it and transform it into something meaningful. I’m also learning to give myself grace and take things one step at a time, trusting that growth doesn’t have to be rushed.
