Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Isa Ingebrigtsen. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Isa, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I grew all my self esteem and confidence through my husband. The way he’s sees me made me believe in myself in a way that I’ didn’t see myself before. He’s always there for me, lifting me up and making me want to be better. Not for anyone else, just for myself. He doesn’t make me feel like I have anything to prove, he just loves me for who I am and it makes me feel like I can be myself.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I love to dress up, style different looks and put together outfits. To me it’s a way of expressing myself and how I feel through clothing and experimenting with different styles and colors. It’s truly a beautiful thing mostly because I’ve never been much of a verbal person, dressing up became a way of expressing myself. Growing up I didn’t really know what I wanted to do in my life, I just wanted to be happy. I can truthfully say that I have accomplished that by doing the things I love the most. Which is taking care of myself, showing up for myself. Dressing up for myself. Allowing myself to rest and take breaks when I feel overwhelmed and stressed. When I met my husband I started thinking about ways we could make a living by doing the things we love, which is dressing up, eating healthy foods, going to events, traveling and having meaningful conversations. I started putting together different outfits, planning trips and showcasing how to wear different styles for special occasions and events and sharing it with my audience. We have a pretty impressive closet that easily catches attention, with designers like Gucci, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, Dior and Hermes. Up and coming brands loves to be associated with established designer brands. I help brands grow their presence in the market by showcasing my audience how to wear and style their products. Including latest trends, fashion and events.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I encourage everyone to do the things you love and love the things you do. Life is too short to do anything else. If you don’t love what you’re doing, do something else. The only way I stay motivated is because I love everything about what I do, it doesn’t feel like work because I based my life on the things that I love doing. The qualities and skills comes from wanting to be the best at what I’m doing and I think it required a lot of multitasking, en exceptional eye for details, perfectionism and courage to stand out and be bold.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am always open to collaborating with influencers, designers, photographers, makeup artists, stylists, hairdressers, Pilates/yoga instructors etc that share a common passion for creating content. I model all clothing and accessories myself so collaborating with new designers and photographers is important for me to grow.
