Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Isabelle Kratz. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Isabelle , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Finding my purpose has been a layered journey – one that’s still evolving, but always grounded in the same core feeling: the desire to create, connect, and uplift others. It really began when I was just a young girl, either stepping into the dance studio or writing in her diary that she wanted to be a “fashion design manager in Paris”. That early passion shaped so much of who I am today.
As I grew up, I fell in love with the performing arts, with the magic of a runway, with the beauty of transformation in modelling and fashion. At 13, I stepped into the world of pageantry and modelling, and that’s when I began to realise that I could do more than just wear the clothes – I could create the vision. I saw a gap in the industry, especially when it came to celebrating diverse bodies and giving young women the confidence to step into their own light.
From there, I co-founded Belle Le Chic with my mum, Jasmine. What started as a small idea became a powerful movement, one rooted in our shared belief that fashion should make every body feel beautiful. Our brand now showcases internationally, and each time we step on a runway—whether in New York, Milan, Paris, or somewhere in Australia – it’s more than a show. It’s a statement.
I am now navigating uni full-time, studying a Bachelor of Communication with majors in Journalism, Fashion, and Social Media. People always ask how I juggle it all, and the truth is, I’ve never really separated my passions from my purpose. Everything I’m doing – whether it’s dancing, teaching, running a business, mentoring models, or studying—feeds into a bigger mission: to build a space where people feel valued, accepted, and seen.
That’s also how For Every Beautiful Body was born. After years in the industry and going through my own journey of bullying, mental health and body image, I saw how many women and girls struggled with confidence and imposter syndrome. I wanted to create something more than a brand—I wanted to build a legacy. A safe, empowering space where women and girls can access tools, support, and inspiration to love themselves, own their stories, and rise above the limitations society often places on them, this is my platform.
So, to answer the question – how did I find my purpose? I think my purpose found me, slowly, through every person who told me I wasn’t good enough or too young to achieve, every show I danced in, every model I watched bloom on the runway, everytime I stepped on a stage and every message from someone who told me I made them feel less alone. Purpose isn’t something you chase once and find – it’s something you build, moment by moment, with heart, hard work, and a whole lot of belief. And I’m still building mine.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
At the heart of everything I do is a mission to empower people – especially women and girls—to feel confident, seen, and beautiful in their own skin. That mission lives and breathes through the three platforms I’ve built: Belle Le Chic, Belle Model Co., and For Every Beautiful Body. Each one reflects a different piece of my story, and together they form the foundation of the legacy I’m building.
Let me start with Belle Le Chic, the fashion label I co-founded with my mum, Jasmine. Belle Le Chic started as a dream we shared: to create timeless, high-quality fashion that embraces every beautiful body for every occasion. What makes our brand so special is that it’s more than clothes – it’s about confidence. Our collections are designed to make women and girls feel elegant, empowered, and authentically themselves.
Over the past three years, we’ve showcased 13 collections on global runways, including New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Week. We have so many exciting collection launches and events coming up in 2025 including: Sydney Met Gala Experience April 25, Bali VIP Retreat July 25, September International Fashion Week Tour (Maldives, Milan, Paris) 25, Melbourne Fashion Week Experience November 25. We work on an application process so if you are an aspiring or experienced model and want to be apart of our BLC Signature Model Team you can apply here: https://www.bellelechic.com/pages/fashion-week-shows
From the runway to the studio, my second platform, Belle Model Co., is where I get to mentor the next generation of models and build their knowledge and confidence in the industry. I founded the school in 2022 after realising the gap in the market for in-person and especially online training in Runway, Photoshoot, Pageantry, Interview and Outfit Styling. Since then, we’ve trained over 100 models 1;1 in the fashion week scene, coached multiple girls to win national and international titles, and launched Belle Model Co. Courses—a new range of online pre-recorded video content that once purchased models get access to for life! From runway to photoshoot, for all ages and skill levels, you can learn more from me here: www.bellemodelco.com
And then there’s the most personal part of my journey—For Every Beautiful Body. This is my legacy project and campaign that pulls everything together. It’s an online platform I launched to provide real support, resources, and inspiration for women and girls navigating self-worth, bullying, mental health, and body image challenges. Right now we have our website platform with helplines, heart stories, and interviews designed to be the guiding light I always needed through my journey. We have lots of exciting plans for the future so stayed tuned here: https://isabellelily.wavoto.com/for-every-beautiful-body/

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1. Resilience & Emotional Strength
This journey hasn’t always been glamorous – it’s taken long nights, rejections, self-doubt, and learning to keep going even when the outcome was unclear. I experienced bullying from a young age, that then lead to my issues with mental health and body image. Being a young teenager already navigating my way through puberty and adolescence, this was a big hurdle in my life that simply stemmed from me chasing my dreams. But instead of letting that define me, I used it as fuel. I channelled that pain into purpose – and that’s exactly where the heart of Belle Le Chic, Belle Model Co and For Every Beautiful Body was born. I wanted to create spaces that celebrated individuality, where girls could feel seen, valued, and worthy, just as they are.
2. Visionary Thinking & Purpose-Led Branding
From launching a fashion label to creating a modelling school and social and online platform, having a clear vision and knowing the purpose behind every decision has kept me aligned. I always ask if every decision I make aligns with my why and this has really helped me stay authentic and true to myself and my values while still nurturing growth.
3. Time Management & Strategic Planning
Balancing full-time university, two businesses, dance teaching, travel, and so many other things in between meant I had to master time management and learn how to work smart. Prioritising, delegating, and being realistic with my energy have helped me stay consistent without burning out.
To anyone, wherever you are in your journey, just know this: your path won’t look like anyone else’s—and that’s your superpower. Build slowly, build intentionally, and most of all, believe in your own voice. That’s where your real success begins.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
My mum, Jasmine, has been everything—my business partner, my role model, my safe space, and my biggest supporter. From launching Belle Le Chic together to navigating the hardest moments in my personal journey, she’s shown me what real leadership looks like. She’s the reason I am still here today.
When I was being bullied, she was the one who stood by me and reminded me of my worth. She never let me dim my light just to make others comfortable. She’s always encouraged me to rise above, speak kindly, work hard, and stay grounded.
The pageant community gave me more than crowns and sashes—it gave me a sisterhood. It gave me women who understand the pressure, the public eye, the self-doubt, and the strength it takes to walk on stage and tell your story. The mentors and friends I met through pageantry were some of the first people who showed me that beauty isn’t about perfection—it’s about purpose.
They helped me build confidence not just in how I presented myself, but in how I carried my voice. They reminded me that representation, authenticity, and kindness matter more than a title ever could. Many of them are still part of my circle to this day—cheering me on, collaborating with me, and reminding me of how far I’ve come
