Meet Izabela Bos

We were lucky to catch up with Izabela Bos recently and have shared our conversation below.

Izabela, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I found my purpose by leaning into what came naturally to me — connecting people, telling meaningful stories, and building communities around a shared mission. Over time, I realized that my passion for strategy, creativity, and impact all came together through digital storytelling and leadership. My purpose revealed itself when I stopped chasing titles and started focusing on the kind of difference I wanted to make — helping others feel seen, informed, and inspired through the work I do every day.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’ve built my career at the intersection of health care, academic medicine, higher education, non-profits, logistics, and retail — spaces that have allowed me to combine creativity, leadership, and purpose in meaningful ways. Today, my work focuses on shaping how organizations connect with their people — whether that’s through powerful storytelling, digital innovation, or creating cultures where employees and communities feel truly seen and valued.

What excites me most is the opportunity to transform complex systems into human stories. Over the years, I’ve led award-winning digital campaigns, launched ambassador programs that give employees and students a voice, and collaborated with leaders to strengthen brand reputation from the inside out. Each initiative has reaffirmed my belief that strategy and empathy go hand in hand — when you lead with purpose, engagement follows naturally.

Looking ahead, I’m focused on expanding initiatives that elevate authentic storytelling across industries, mentoring emerging professionals, and continuing to innovate at the crossroads of digital communication, leadership, and impact.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

My career has been shaped by a unique blend of experiences across healthcare, academic medicine, higher education, non-profits, logistics, and retail — all industries that, despite their differences, share one constant: people. Each chapter has deepened my passion for building meaningful connections, driving impact through strategy, and creating authentic narratives that inspire trust and engagement.

What excites me most is the opportunity to merge creativity and data, crafting campaigns that don’t just inform but truly resonate. Throughout my journey, I’ve launched award-winning digital programs, strengthened employer branding efforts, and helped bridge communication between leadership, employees, and the communities we serve. I’ve also had the privilege of mentoring emerging professionals and empowering teams to lead with empathy, strategy, and innovation.

At the heart of it all, my work is about people and possibilities — using storytelling, collaboration, and strategy to elevate voices, build trust, and spark meaningful change. Looking ahead, I’m focused on expanding initiatives that highlight diverse perspectives, promote community engagement, and continue redefining how digital storytelling can connect industries and impact lives.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

If I knew I only had a decade left, I’d spend it with deep intention — pouring into people, purpose, and experiences that leave a lasting imprint. I’d spend more time with the people who make me laugh until my stomach hurts, travel to places that remind me how big and beautiful the world is, and continue creating work that matters — stories, initiatives, and connections that outlive me.

Professionally, I’d focus on mentoring others and helping people discover their own voice and confidence. There’s something powerful about guiding others toward their purpose — it’s how impact multiplies. Ultimately, I’d want those ten years to be a celebration of gratitude, growth, and giving — to live fully, love deeply, and leave behind something meaningful that continues to inspire long after I’m gone.
