We recently connected with Izabela Bos and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Izabela , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I found my purpose by leaning into curiosity and creativity. For a long time, I thought purpose had to come in one big “aha” moment, but in reality, it revealed itself through small steps — following what inspired me, paying attention to what felt meaningful, and noticing when I felt most connected to others. With Simply Luna, that spark came from realizing how much joy I felt in curating pieces that allowed people to express themselves and feel confident. What started as a small passion project — a way to share my love for fashion — slowly grew into something bigger. Through Simply Luna, I recognized that my purpose is rooted in creating, connecting, and empowering others, not just through clothing, but by helping them embrace their individuality and tell their own story with confidence.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Simply Luna is more than just a clothing store to me — it’s a space where fashion meets individuality. I curate collections that are stylish yet approachable, with the goal of helping people feel confident and authentic in what they wear. What excites me most is seeing how a single piece can completely change someone’s mood — when a customer tells me they felt empowered, beautiful, or like themselves again because of something they found at Simply Luna, that’s the most rewarding part.
What makes Simply Luna special is that it’s built from a place of connection. I’ve always believed that clothing is a form of self-expression, and through Simply Luna, I get to create a bridge between style and confidence for every customer who shops with us online.
As for what’s new — we’re continuing to expand our seasonal collections with fresh pieces that highlight individuality while staying true to Simply Luna’s style. I’m also really excited about upcoming pop-up events where people can experience the brand in person, connect with the community, and of course, discover new collections. Simply Luna is constantly evolving, but at its heart, it will always be about celebrating individuality and empowering people through fashion.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, I think three qualities made the biggest difference in my journey with Simply Luna:
Creativity – Fashion is all about expression, and having a creative eye helped me curate pieces that truly resonated with my customers. Creativity also allowed me to think outside the box when it came to branding, storytelling, and connecting with people in meaningful ways.
Advice: Nurture creativity by staying curious — explore new styles, pay attention to trends, and don’t be afraid to experiment until you find your own voice.
Resilience – Entrepreneurship isn’t always glamorous. There were moments of doubt, challenges with growth, and times when things didn’t go as planned. Resilience is what kept me moving forward and reminded me why I started.
Advice: Build resilience by embracing setbacks as lessons. Every challenge shapes you and brings clarity to your purpose.
Connection – At its core, Simply Luna is about people. Building genuine relationships — with customers, collaborators, and the community — has been key to growing the brand in an authentic way.
Advice: Focus on connection by listening more than you speak, understanding what your audience truly needs, and building trust through consistency and authenticity.
For anyone just starting out, I’d say don’t rush the process. Invest time in developing these qualities, and remember that your journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. The most powerful growth often comes from small, steady steps.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
If I knew I only had a decade left, I would spend it fully present — pouring my energy into the people and passions that matter most. I’d want to spend as much time as possible with my loved ones, creating memories in the everyday moments, not just the big milestones. I would continue to grow Simply Luna, not just as a clothing store, but as a platform for connection, creativity, and empowerment — because it’s become such a meaningful part of my purpose. I’d also want to travel, experience different cultures, and draw inspiration from the world around me to keep creating. More than anything, I’d focus on leaving behind something lasting: a brand and a life that remind people to embrace who they are and to live with confidence and authenticity.
