Meet Izarya Rawchaa

We recently connected with Izarya Rawchaa and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Izarya, so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?

For me, it’s really about being 100% comfortable in what I’m doing and who I am. Understanding that it’s okay to be myself that being different isn’t strange, different is powerful. Different is great. What I do isn’t just for me; it inspires and motivates people, and that lets me know I’m on the right track.

Being close with Jesus and following His steps gives me confirmation. It gives me peace. So when I walk into rooms where nobody looks like me, I don’t try to question myself or blend in. I don’t dim anything. I just be me fully. And I stand out. Not for attention, but because authenticity naturally carries presence.

I think about the next person too the one watching, the one who might feel out of place like I once did. If my confidence, my walk, my consistency motivate them or give them courage, then I know I’m fulfilling my purpose in that moment.

My confidence comes from trust, trusting in God, trusting in myself, and trusting in the model I live by “Staying Golden.” My parents always taught me that the only person who will truly go hard for you is you. So you have to show up every day. Put the work in. Understanding that everything can be broken down into small steps. The same way with growth and adjustments. That’s why it’s very important to always believe in yourself even when no one else understands it yet.

I’ve built that discipline you know always walking in excellence so there’s no room for doubt. At that point, I’m not trying to fit the room. Simply reminding the room what confidence, faith, and self-belief look like from a different perspective.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I create wearable art with meaning, pieces that are deeply personal and rooted in the individual. I take time to learn who someone is, their story, their mindset, and then design a piece based on that, showing them a side of themselves they may not even see yet. My work is storytelling through fashion, but it’s also functional and intentional. These pieces aren’t just to be worn, they’re meant to motivate, becoming that go-to item you put on when you’re creating, working, or stepping into your purpose, a reminder of who you are and what you carry within. What makes my work special is that it goes beyond style, it touches confidence, truth, growth, and self-belief, empowering people to feel seen, aligned, and connected to who God created them to be. Right now, I’m working on a new art show, putting together more fashion shows, and building new collaborations and partnerships. I’m also expanding my work with charities, using my talent to give back and pour into the youth because they are our future, creating pieces and initiatives that motivate, uplift, and help shape their mindset so they understand the importance of believing in themselves, following their dreams, and moving with love and unity. I’m re-releasing one of our top pieces, the Glow In The Dark Collection, which is rooted in confidence, truth, growth, and self-belief, glowing green to represent life, renewal, and evolution. Even in dark moments, your inner truth still radiates, and the glow symbolizes the power that comes from standing in your authenticity and trusting who you are becoming. Each piece represents stepping into your power, honoring your journey, and carrying one clear message: move with purpose to stay golden. I’m also preparing to launch a book sharing my personal journey, how I overcame life’s obstacles and the lessons that shaped me, while continuing to push the brand forward by getting into more schools, making my work more accessible and affordable, and creating more opportunities to inspire others. At the core, this is more than fashion, it’s purpose, transformation, faith, and a movement designed to remind people that their light is real, their story matters, and their growth is powerful.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, the three most impactful elements in my journey have been finding Jesus, love, and self-development. Finding Jesus is number one and most important because without Him, there is no true direction. He provides clarity on who you are, where you’re meant to go, and what your purpose truly is. That spiritual foundation has guided every step I’ve taken. The second is love. Love teaches you how to care beyond yourself, how to move with compassion, and how to genuinely want better for others. It’s the root of connection, service, and meaningful creation. The third is self-improvement, or self-development. Taking the time to truly see yourself, understand your flaws, recognize your strengths, and commit to becoming better is essential. Growth isn’t just for you, it’s for how you inspire, uplift, and motivate the people around you. Once you adopt the mindset that life is bigger than just you, peace starts to follow.

For those early in their journey, my advice is simple but powerful. Understand that it will be tough, but consistency is key, and consistency means always striving to improve. Ask yourself every day how you can be better than you were yesterday, even if it’s just one small step. Focus less on the end goal and more on the process. Fall in love with the journey, not just the destination. Be present in the moments where growth is happening, whether you’re creating, practicing, learning, or building. Don’t rush your timing or stress about where you think you should be. When you stay present, doubt has less room to enter. Enjoy the evolution from point A to point B, because that’s where passion deepens, purpose becomes clearer, and what you do stops feeling like a chore and starts feeling like who you truly are.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

One of the most impactful things my parents did for me was teach me that I can do, create, and achieve anything I put my mind to. That lesson opened so many doors for me. They encouraged me to use my imagination, to build, create, and turn ideas into reality, and they showed me the importance of confidence and having fun while doing it. By leading through example, they instilled in me a mindset that has carried me this far and continues to push me even further. That foundation helped me discover who I truly am, and in turn, it’s inspired others to pursue their own greatness. I’m always grateful to them for planting that seed in me as a kid it became a core part of who I am.
