Meet J-SMOOL DA BOSS

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful J-SMOOL DA BOSS. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with J-SMOOL below.

Hi J-SMOOL, thank you so much for making time for us today. Let’s jump right into a question so many in our community are looking for answers to – how to overcome creativity blocks, writer’s block, etc. We’d love to hear your thoughts or any advice you might have.
I am always a thinker I think about a lot of things all the time too see what I want to use towards my music and how it will fit into my music. If I can’t think of anything at the time Im writing music I just wait for a period of time and let it come to me naturally and let things flow or I would just find something worth writing about for my music. At times I just take a look at the things around me and be like hmm okay I’m use what I see and know and write it into my music. I overcome writers block by just freestyling anything that comes to mind too see if that would help me write and create more music. On the other hand I am a lyricists beast with the lyrics I have my own very unique style of writing and creating my own lyrics.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
On September 29 2023 I had released my new single Dance Like TikTok on all Major platforms. Dance Like TikTok is a cool catchy song that people can just vibe and dance to for fun. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1. Be consistent 2. Invest in your music
3. Be creative Be You and Yourself.

Be consistent with your music at all times never give up on your music. Keep working until you see progress and better results. Keep working until you perfect your music. Keep pushing your music out on any major platforms. Keep advertising and marketing your music until it reaches the audience you want. Always invest in your music, buy your equipment or supplies you need for your music. Put money behind your music too push it across your social media accounts. Invest in your music so that one day you can look back and see what you accomplish and see where you improve the most in. Be creative and be you give your music originality, give your music you so that when people listen to your music they can understand more about you, they can relate to your music, or they can love your music, give people something that they never seen or heard before. You can always go back and work on any music you want by go back and listening to what your music says and see if your music make sense to you. Always go back edit your music to get it right.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
The book that played a major role in my development is the Bible. Always keep God first in everything you do because God he knows the plans he has for you and your life. Keep God first in everything that you do because with God everything is possible and in God your plans will succeed.
