Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jacob Suarez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Jacob, so excited to have you with us today, particularly to get your insight on a topic that comes up constantly in the community – overcoming creativity blocks. Any thoughts you can share with us?
Writer’s block can be tricky, but I’ve learned to work with it rather than fight it. When I hit a wall, I’ve found the best thing I can do is step away from the piece entirely and engage fully in something else that catches my attention—could be a walk, reading something unrelated, even just doing mundane tasks.
Here’s what’s happening: while I’m doing that other thing, my brain is still processing the original problem in the background. It’s making new neural connections, finding pathways that were closed off when I was staring at the blank page. Our minds are phenomenal this way—they keep working on problems even when we’re not consciously focused on them.
I think of it like feeding my brain a new diet of information. Sometimes the breakthrough comes from an unexpected source—a conversation overheard at a coffee shop, something I notice during a workout, a completely unrelated article. That fresh input gives my subconscious new material to work with, and suddenly the piece I was stuck on clicks into place.
The key is trusting the process and not forcing it. Creativity isn’t always about grinding through—sometimes it’s about giving yourself permission to step back.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’ve spent over seven years in hazmat cleanup, helping people reclaim their lives from trauma – crime scenes, hoarding situations, biohazard contamination. It’s work that profoundly changed me and made me ask: how can I impact more lives beyond the jobs I personally handle?
That question led me to start @Biggieclean, documenting the reality of trauma cleanup on social media. I wanted to bring hope to people struggling with these situations and pull back the curtain on this hidden industry. We’ve built an audience of over 1 million engaged viewers monthly, and what started as simple documentation has become a movement.
The platform exposed a massive problem: most hazmat companies are incredible at the technical work but invisible to families who desperately need them. Families in crisis are googling for help at 2am and finding outdated websites or, worse, predatory companies that take advantage of vulnerable people.
So in 2026, I launched hazmatmarketing.com. My approach is unique because I understand both sides – I’ve lived the work and built the digital presence. We combine face-to-face relationship marketing with modern digital campaigns through the @Biggieclean network. It’s not just SEO and ads – it’s authentic storytelling that builds trust.
We’re currently providing coverage across 12 states and expanding quickly. What excites me most is that we’re evolving an entire industry. For decades, hazmat work has operated in the shadows, and that secrecy has bred mistrust. By helping quality companies connect with families who need them, we’re creating a new standard.
The mission is simple: professionalize the industry, empower the good companies, protect the families. Every business we help scale up is another family that gets proper care instead of being exploited in their darkest moment.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The first skill I’d suggest is learning how to learn. We’re living in the middle of a rapid technological revolution – things that took decades to normalize in society now take just a few years. Consumer preferences and company values are shifting quickly with this advancement. The people who thrive are the ones who can adapt and absorb new information fast.
The second quality is honoring the process of becoming. We all want to be an overnight success, but that’s the exception, not the rule. The seed of everything you envision for yourself is already there – you just have to water it consistently and let it grow. This requires patience and letting go of self-limiting beliefs and behaviors. Trust that small, consistent actions compound over time.
The last quality is building within community. Believe it or not, there are others out there pursuing similar things as you. When the days get tough and you lack motivation or clarity on the path forward, who will you fall back on? The two most common obstacles toward your definition of success are yourself and your environment. Adjust your environment to align with your mission – surround yourself with people who get it – and you’ll see the friction subside.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Absolutely. I’m looking to collaborate with hazmat business owners who are ready to scale but feel stuck with their current marketing approach.
If you’re great at the technical work but invisible online, or if you’re watching less qualified competitors dominate your market because they understand digital marketing – we should talk.
I’m specifically interested in working with owners who care about the quality of their work and the families they serve. People who want to build a legitimate, professional operation, not just chase quick money. If you’re willing to invest in your business’s long-term growth and understand that real marketing is about building trust, not just running ads, you’re exactly who I want to work with.
We’re currently expanding coverage across the US and looking for partners who are ready to modernize their digital presence while leveraging face-to-face relationship building in their local markets.
