Meet Ja’Cole Tabor

We were lucky to catch up with Ja’Cole Tabor recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Ja’Cole , you’ve got such an interesting story, but before we jump into that, let’s first talk about a topic near and dear to us – generosity. We think success, happiness and wellbeing depends on authentic generosity and empathy and so we’d love to hear about how you become such a generous person – where do you think your generosity comes from?
My generosity honestly comes from my faith in God and knowing that NO MATTER WHAT, he’ll always have my back.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am the mastermind behind D.Foreman Frames! My brand helps people be confident yet stylish in the eyewear of their choice from my various collections. What is most special about my business is that it is my very own brand, & what I mean by that is EVERY SINGLE pair of eyewear has my logo on it; So when people see them, they will know they came from me!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The first quality I feel that was impactful on my journey was having confidence. . . as cliche as it may sound, having the voice to speak and believe in my vision for my brand and to know that my products are worth people spending their hard earned money on. Secondly, an area of knowledge that I felt was impactful was taking the time to get to understand how to use my website and what the platform I use has to offer, digital marketing can be OVERWHELMING for a lot of folks but taking the time to understand the basics is truly helpful. Lastly, a skill that was impactful on my journey is hard work ethic . . I have that part down but the staying consistent is what gets me! So if I had any advice for folks early in their journey it’s to find your lane, discover what you’re good at, and STAY CONSISTENT WITH IT!

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
Most of my memories growing up were of my mom & I. She’s ALWAYS been there for me no matter if I was 100% correct or 100% wrong! One of the most impactful things she’s did for me was instill God into my life; it’s because of her that I have a relationship with him.
