Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jae Chanel. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jae, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I was the girl with her head down. I stayed quiet in rooms, not because I had nothing to say, but because I questioned if I was even supposed to be there. Life came at me fast, and early on I got used to surviving instead of standing tall in who I was.
Everything started to change when I began healing. I stopped chasing love from the wrong places and chose to stay where the love was real and reciprocated. Being around people who truly see you and pour into you matters.
Confidence didn’t come from pretending. It came from doing the inner work and learning how to believe in what God already said about me. I started speaking Psalm 139:14 over my life. “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” At first I just read it. Over time, I believed it. That belief helped me lift my head and walk with purpose.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m the one who laughs loud, dances often, and brings good energy wherever I go. I believe in joy, connection, and creating moments that make people feel alive. That same spirit shows up in everything I create.
I’m an innovative creator, inventor, and philanthropist who is passionate about all things creative. I founded HeroJC Productions and invented the Get It Get It card game and game show. Both are designed to bring people together through music, fun, and unforgettable vibes. I’m also the author of Goal Get It, a 31-day motivational read available on Amazon, created to keep you inspired and focused.
My story didn’t start easy. I had a tough and abusive upbringing and became a teenage mother. But I made the best lemonade with every flavor life gave me, then made my own flavors for a little extra razzle dazzle. I use my story to bring joy, healing, and connection into the spaces I create.
Right now I’m working on new film projects, expanding the Get It Get It experience to different cities and stages, and building meaningful collaborations that align with my purpose. Everything I do is rooted in impact, authenticity, and love.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three qualities that shaped my journey most are resilience, creativity, and discernment. Each one has played a powerful role in helping me grow personally and professionally.
Resilience taught me how to keep moving through challenges without losing sight of who I am. Life has tested me in many ways, but those moments built strength that no classroom could teach. It gave me the endurance to stand tall when things got heavy and to see obstacles as opportunities to grow.
Creativity became my outlet and my gift. It’s how I turn ideas into impact. Whether I’m writing, producing, or creating new experiences through my Get It Get It game show, creativity allows me to connect with people and spark joy in ways that words alone cannot.
Discernment keeps me grounded. It helps me make decisions that align with my purpose and values, not just what looks good on paper. Knowing when to pause, when to say no, and when to move forward has made all the difference.
For anyone starting their journey, I would say this: build your resilience by facing challenges with grace, not fear. Nurture your creativity by staying curious and open to new ideas. And protect your peace by using discernment to guide your path. Each of these will strengthen not only your work but your character along the way.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Yes, I absolutely extend the invite to partner and collaborate. I’m intentional about building with producers, directors, networks, corporations, creatives, and visionaries who understand that this is more than just entertainment. It’s about impact, energy, and creating a cultural shift. From interactive game shows that light up corporate spaces and community events, to visual stories that amplify voices that have been overlooked, this is bigger than a brand. It’s a movement.
