Meet Jai Wilson

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jai Wilson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jai below.

Jai, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

I Had this for quite a while. I slowly but surely overcame it, a lot of people would say I’m “famous” and I never once agreed, quite frankly I still don’t, but people I talk to and/or who see me kinda continued to mention it as I have friends who don’t do the same as me and it eventually hit me one day when I seen how many people do actually know me. And the fact I have done some big things in such little time made me realise maybe this is my placement and this is where I’m ment to be.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I Personally go by the name or alias “JK3R” which has a few meanings, my favourite of which is that in the middle of the 3 And K in my name it forms a heart, this name pretty much stuck with me through my entire career, slightly changed once but stuck.

I used to be a streamer on the platform “Twitch” and went by the name “JØK3R7343” Bassed Off My Original Xbox Username, I Reached Around 200 Followers on my own and eventually guess starred my friend Kaiden (Meilodas123) and then a few others such as, Logan Nabours (FE4R) Archie Tilley (Archie1172) Kayla Randal (Hachiman3455) And Kinsley Self (Kinsley2021) Who We eventually lost in 2023, together we changed the channel name from “JØK3R7343” To The now infamous name, the “JokersSquad_” together we amassed a large following of around 163k followers from 2017 to 2022, and then unfortunately being databreached, hacked and removed from the platform in 2022 and sadly loosing the JokersSquad channel. We had a wide range of content from classic gameplay, interactive streams, vlogs, and the most famous of our projects by far “The Rift” which is the number 1 most watched fortnite series of videos of all time, following the story of main character “mmidas”voiced by Jai Wilson. And “Kaiden”Or “the project prowler” Voiced By kaiden Johnson, and the 2 go on mass adventures in the non-official yet highly loved “No. 1 Fortnite TV Show” and just recently we re-opened the Rift Universe with The JokersSquads Most Recent Project “Unbreakable” which follows the characters Lorenzo And Steel. I would recommend you watch it if action and comedy is your thing, and if you enjoy it then I’m proud to say that a Sequel titled “Unbreakable, The Broken Universe” which plays into the multiverse Trope, is currently in production and will be out during the summer of 2026.

When I lost kinsley I felt lost, we got hacked then lost someone very close to us and I felt I was done. I had my shot and I shot it, and since that day the JokersSquad Never recovered. It was rough. Very rough… but we slowly got up.

In time and out of my own struggles I would take on the name “JK3R” mainly removing the “o” just to scare away copywrite from my name. And used it to make music instead which was an accident. Me and my friend chris where messing about attempting freestyles on youtube beats. Eventually I’d get a full song. He then suggested I should make it into something

Eventually meeting some people, known as the Green $limez Music Group who I would go on to become the co-owner of. Who would help me collab in my music and promote it. Meeting the people I am still the closest to today. Except my girlfriend. I’m the closest to her. And if your reading this then I love you princess x

I then around April 2024 received a call from Grade A studios asking if I would be okay with working with “The Kid LAROI” who is now a friend of mine. Which is very strange to say.

That boosted my career 1000% to where I’m at now

And chris. Who recently passed during the time of this interview. Chris did all my rock instrumentals. So he genuinely is the reason I’m here still and my music is good-ish in my mind…

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I spent a long time studying the YouTube Algorithm. Twitch Algorithm. And instagram Algorithm. The 3 main for major engagement. I won’t give away the secrets here because if you do want to be like me. Then you need to put it the same ammount of work. Not half-ass it

I also wish I knew it wouldn’t be easy. I thought this career path would be a breeze… it’s not

And my best advice if you want to be like me. Then never give up. Don’t care about how many views you get, as long as your having fun. And your showing atleast 2 people your having fun. Then your exactly like me. The numbers don’t matter

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

I have 3 people who have helped me the most.

Number 1 being Charlton (The Kid LAROI)

The absolute power he put into my career by just liking my music is insane. Never would I think that a collaboration like that would exist. But it does, and that’s insane.

Number 2 being kaiden (Meilodas123)

I’ve never had a friend like kaiden. I’m pretty sure more than half the world hasn’t had a friend like kaiden. Nobody I’ve ever known, heard of, or even just seen for a second. Can compare the the type of friend kaiden is for me. He’s the genuinely purest dude I’ve ever met. Off camera he’s identical to the way he is on camera. Fun, energetic, “dumb” he’s the least fake person ever. Just always in his own world and I love that. The Very Old JokersSquad days would never have even existed if I didn’t meet him. I wouldn’t even exist if I didn’t meet him. I remember him saying this when I said I was doing an interview. He said that he’d like to say something about the hacking the JokersSquad went through. So he said these,

What’s your biggest challenge now?

“Uh well the biggest challenge for me personally and for everyone else was just mainly trying to get back on that track, basically like trying to get back that schedule we once had and being more consistent about things.”
– Kaiden

Do you think the hack was necessary to be where you are now?

“I feel it was needed to a degree, because everyone was stressed and certain things came up that people needed time from, but I do wish we could have at least said more to the public about certain things. But overall I say it made me a better person and more mature for things in the future for jokersquad.” – Kaiden

What was it like being there?

“Uh, my experience personally was really good. It was one of the best times of my life, netting all my friends from there, netting fans in general was just a really good experience, and mainly being with my best friend Jai, we obviously had our ups and downs but that was barely ever a problem, and overall I just felt happiest during our prime.” – Kaiden

And he also said this but he doesn’t know this is going in:

“that’s all I can think of. I just woke up”

So yeah, that’s Kaiden for you…

My Number 3 being chris. Who has now passed,

Chris has never not helped me figure out how to make a sound with my music. Always shows me how to do stuff. He would genuinely just teach himself everything just to show me. One of the Kindest souls ever.
