Meet Jaime Dee

We were lucky to catch up with Jaime Dee recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jaime, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I found my purpose by not being afraid to try. I took the time to map out my interests and followed what felt right in the moment, even if it meant stepping into the unknown. I’ve always believed in giving things a shot—trying something at least once—because you never know what doors it might open. That fearless curiosity led me to where I am today: I’m Jaime Dee—a Live Morning Radio Personality and 5-time Viral Recording Artist. My purpose revealed itself through exploration, persistence, and a willingness to bet on myself.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My name is Jaime Dee, and I’m a Live Morning Radio Personality and a 5-time Viral Recording Artist. What I find most exciting about what I do is the ability to inspire and uplift others simply by showing up as my authentic self. Every day, I get to tap into my creativity, connect with people, and leave a positive impact through both my voice and my music. Being part of the entertainment industry has been incredibly rewarding—it allows me to celebrate culture, joy, and community on a broad scale.

Right now, I’m in an exciting phase of growth as I prepare to transition full-time into the music industry. My music is already making waves—being played on the radio, in clubs, bars, lounges, and at major events—and I’m ready to take things to the next level. My mission is to bring the fun back to music and be known as the artist who makes partying feel good again.

Some of my current releases include “Roll With Me,” “It’s My Birthday,” “Cowgirl,” “Oh You Mad?” and “All Good.” Each track reflects a different part of who I am as an artist, and there’s so much more to come.

Stay tuned—this is just the beginning.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are fearlessness, inquisitiveness, and perseverance. Without those, I truly wouldn’t be where I am today. Being fearless allowed me to take risks. Staying curious kept me learning and growing. And perseverance pushed me forward, even when things got tough or uncertain.

For anyone early in their journey, my biggest piece of advice is this: don’t be afraid to ask for help. Reach out to people you admire, connect with those who inspire you, and ask questions. Use every resource available to you—Google, social media, your community, your friends. And most importantly, remind yourself every day that you can do this. No one is going to push you harder than you can push yourself. Bet on you, show up for you, and watch everything start to align.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?

The number one obstacle I’m currently facing—even with my music going viral—is gaining consistent support from people. It can be really tough to get others to actively share, stream, or create content (like reels) around my music. What’s disheartening is when people say they’ll support you, promise to post or create something—and then never follow through. Meanwhile, someone they don’t even know goes viral, and suddenly they have all the time and energy to promote that person. It’s a frustrating reality that many independent artists face.

To overcome this, I’ve been focused on retraining my mindset. Instead of letting discouragement win, I remind myself that staying true to who I am, remaining consistent, and never giving up will eventually turn the tide. I’ve learned that people support momentum—so I’m creating mine every single day. I know that if I keep showing up, there will come a point where people won’t have a choice but to support what I’m doing.
