We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jamera Ry’Che a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jamera, so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.
I would definitely say it’s a mind thing! You have to make up in your mind what u gone do you either gone do you or listen to “them”…… You have to know in your mind who you are or at least who you wanna be and work towards that focus on that…..Me personally I had to learn and still taking it day by day because it is a process everyday reminding myself to stay focused on the goals and the purpose push towards the future look at the positives and block the haters out I mean see them recognize they there but keep it moving those are distractions just to either knock u out ya position or keep you stagnant and I made up in my mind that’s not gone be me it can’t be me I can’t accept it… read the word, prayer, meditation, affirmations, praise and worship is the key!!!

Everyone know me as JameraRy’Che which is also my brand. Right now I’m just focused on getting more music out there I just dropped two singles “Humble ft Ferragamo” and just dropped “Reality” on the 31st of December. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I would say the first thing and main thing for me is having 1. discernment and that comes from having a prayer life, 2.perseverance being able to keep going or shake back and press through even when it don’t look pretty and even when it hurts 3.Faith, gotta have faith
As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
The Bible, I would share that there is a God that is filled with a unconditional Love just for me and you to if you want it…. And that this God (My God) has plans to prosper me and not to harm me this God (my God) is filled with all this power and if he will never leave me nor forsake me then nothing can harm me so i don’t have to worry, or fear and it’s ok if I mess up cuz God is forgiving and that love conquers all. If the God that I serve is a King that means I don’t have to settle or accept nothing less than respect and royalty. I’ve learned that to walk in Love, joy ,peace, patience ,kindness ,goodness ,gentleness ,faithfulness, and self control is key 🔑
