Meet Jameson Kendrick Glover

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jameson Kendrick Glover. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Jameson Kendrick, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
First, I paid close attention to the things I cared about the most. I asked myself, “What makes me happy? What do I want to change in my surroundings?”

By figuring out what my beliefs were and what kind of effect I wanted to have, I was able to set my goals for something bigger than myself. Another important part of discovering my purpose was paying attention to my gut feelings.

We can get caught up in what other people think or what society expects of us, kind of like predictable robots. But each of us has a small voice inside that tells us what makes us truly happy, and we have to listen to it. When I listened to that inner voice and went with my gut, I was able to make decisions that felt real and true.

I also tried to get thoughts from people who had already found their purpose. Reading books, attending webinars, and going to business functions, I learned from people who were doing important work and got inspired.Their stories and thoughts helped me figure out what to do and what was possible.

Last, I learned to take my time and enjoy. Finding your meaning is not a goal; it’s an ongoing process of growth and self-discovery. It’s okay to try new things, make mistakes, and change your mind as you go.

Every experience you have helps you grow as a person and in your job, bringing you closer to your goal. So, if you want to find your purpose, my friend, take the time to look into your passions, figure out what you value, listen to your gut, look for motivation, and enjoy the journey.

Trust me, when you find that sweet spot where your passions and values meet, you’ll feel a deep sense of fulfillment and know you’re living your purpose..

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m a Graphic Designer, and my goal is to help businesses, no matter how big or small, do well in the business world. My brand is pretty much to help other people achieve. I also like to educate people on what Graphic Design is. It’s more than just making pretty designs. My website will soon have a lot of new things, like more casual blogs, video blog tutorials, and live Q&A sections.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My qualities I would say I was always interested and willing to try new things. I was always trying to learn something new, and I was also artistic as a child. Always seek better ways of what you already know. In life we never stop learning, so never stay in your comfort zone keep reaching.

How would you describe your ideal client?
What is my ideal client? They would have to be someone with a clear idea of what they want in their project design for their business. This will help me better understand their wants and come up with the best solutions. I’m a firm believer in business-client communication. A great characteristic would be someone who knows what to expect from a designer or is willing to learn how the design process works.
