Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jamie Loren. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jamie, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I’ve always cared deeply about how environments make people feel, long before I ever called myself a designer. While working at Princess Cruises, I found myself elevating every experience — even presentation decks — without realizing it was design. The turning point came when a former colleague insisted I redesign her bathroom after seeing what I created in my own home. That’s when I understood that transforming a space can transform how someone lives, feels, and shows up in the world. Through Jamie Loren Home, my purpose is to create personalized luxury environments where joy, pride, and function align. When a client walks in and says, “I can’t believe this is my home,” that is everything to me — and my mission is to continue designing homes across Southern California and beyond that elevate lives, build confidence, and leave a lasting impact.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m the founder and principal designer of Jamie Loren Home, a luxury interior design studio based in Southern California. We specialize in high-end residential design that blends elevated aesthetics with thoughtful functionality — creating homes that not only look beautiful, but deeply support the way people live. What excites me most is the emotional transformation that happens for my clients. A home is personal. When we create a space that reflects who they are and who they’re becoming, it changes everything — how they wake up, how they host others, how they see themselves. That feeling never gets old.
What sets our boutique studio apart is our attention to detail and the level of care we bring to each project. We don’t just design rooms — we craft experiences. I believe luxury is in the details: the custom millwork tailored to their routines, the lighting that sets the perfect mood, the materials that balance beauty and performance. My clients trust me to bring clarity to their vision and advocate for them throughout the entire renovation process.
Right now, Jamie Loren Home is expanding — taking on larger full-home remodels and collaborations with builders and investors throughout Los Angeles. We’re also developing tools and creative content to educate and inspire homeowners who want a designer lifestyle with confidence and ease. My long-term vision is to grow a team that pushes the boundaries of what residential design can be — and to see our work featured and celebrated in top publications. There’s nothing more rewarding than creating spaces that elevate everyday life, and I’m just getting started.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, the three things that made the biggest impact on my journey were trusting my eye, leading with service, and continuous learning. First, trusting my eye — I didn’t have formal design training when I started, so I had to believe what I saw and felt was valid. For anyone early in their journey: your perspective is your power. Study great work, analyze why it moves you, and then trust your own instinct as you create.
Second, leading with service — interior design is deeply personal, and my role is to listen, advocate, and elevate. Strong relationships are what open doors and build lifelong clients. Treat every interaction as a chance to deliver more care and clarity than expected, and people will remember you for how you made them feel.
Lastly, continuous learning — there’s no finish line in this profession. Materials evolve, building codes shift, trends come and go. The willingness to stay curious, ask questions, and take feedback without letting it break your confidence is essential. My advice: show up as a student every day. The growth compounds.
If you combine those three — belief in your unique talent, a heart for service, and the humility to keep learning — you will create opportunities you can’t even imagine yet.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Absolutely — collaboration is a core part of the work we do at Jamie Loren Home. We’re always looking to partner with talented builders, architects, artisans, and trades who share our commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and exceptional client experience. I love collaborating with professionals who value thoughtful communication, precision, and a solutions-oriented mindset — people who take pride in creating something remarkable together and who care as deeply about the details as we do.
We are also exploring partnerships with developers and investors on high-end residential projects throughout Los Angeles, where design-driven strategy can elevate both the living experience and the property’s value.
If someone reading this feels aligned with our approach and would like to explore a collaboration, they can connect with us through our website or Instagram at Jamie Loren Home. I’m always excited to meet people who are passionate about elevating the way people live.
