Hi Jamie, so excited to have you with us today and we are really interested in hearing your thoughts about how folks can develop their empathy? In our experience, most folks want to be empathic towards others, but in a world where we are often only surrounded by people who are very similar to us, it can sometimes be a challenge to develop empathy for others who might not be as similar to us. Any thoughts or advice?
The conditions that allowed me to develop my empathy were rooted in my natural gift as a 4th generation Psychic/Medium. From a young age, I connected with spirits and channeled messages, providing accurate readings in various life aspects. My empathic abilities, combined with clairsentience, clairvoyance, and clairaudience, allowed me to offer insights on relationships, love, career, finances, and more. The journey began at age 5, and by 15, I was already sharing my gift professionally, bringing comfort and answers to people from all walks of life. I also give credit to my grandmother who encouraged me to develop my empathic abilities . My approach is inclusive, working with a variety of different individuals. I draw on tools like Tarot and Astrology when needed but mainly work with spirit.

I am deeply passionate about my work as a Psychic/Medium, Medical Intuitive, Energy Healer, and paranormal investigator. What excites me most is the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life, providing them with clarity, peace, and comfort through my readings. The ability to bridge the gap between the spiritual and physical realms, offering accurate predictions and messages from loved ones who have crossed over, is truly special.
In addition to my spiritual practice, I am also a Reiki Master, Life Coach, Intuitive Coach, and ordained minister, bringing a comprehensive and empathetic approach to my clients’ well-being. I hold an MBA and am a Michigan State University alumni, showcasing the integration of both spiritual and academic facets in my life.
One exciting aspect of my journey is hosting “The Electric Spirit Podcast,” where I delve into various topics related to spirituality, energy, and the paranormal. It’s a platform where I share insights, experiences, and connect with a broader audience.
As for what’s new, I’m continually evolving and expanding my services to better support those seeking answers and guidance. Whether it’s through events, new services, or podcast episodes, I am committed to creating a space where individuals can find solace and empowerment on their spiritual journeys.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reflecting on my journey, three impactful qualities that played a crucial role are perseverance, self-belief, and resilience. In the realm of Psychic Mediumship, where adversity is not uncommon, these qualities have been my guiding forces. Perseverance kept me moving forward, even when faced with challenges. Believing in myself and my abilities was essential to navigate the uncertainties of this field. And resilience allowed me to maintain a successful business despite the ups and downs.
For those early in their journey, my advice is to cultivate perseverance – stay committed to your path even when faced with setbacks. Believe in your unique gifts and the value you bring to others. Surround yourself with mentors and supportive colleagues, as they can offer guidance and encouragement. In my case, mentors like James Van Praagh played vital roles in my development. My dear friend and colleague Bruce Alexander provided me with the encouragement & support to stay grounded in this field.
Remember, every step forward is a victory, and the journey is as important as the destination. Stay true to yourself, embrace the learning process, and draw strength from the belief in your abilities.
Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
Navigating the interface between the spiritual realm and the earthly, ego-driven world can indeed pose challenges. Patience becomes a virtue, as the spirit world operates on a different timescale than our fast-paced, technology-driven lives. Communicating this to clients and helping them understand the intricacies of psychic work is crucial.
Expressing the limitations, we, as psychics, have in terms of knowing everything and emphasizing the importance of trust in the process is essential. It’s a collaborative effort between the spiritual insights we receive and the client’s openness to receive them.
Encouraging clients to release expectations, relinquish control, and step out of their ego can foster a more harmonious connection with the spirit world. Reminding them that, like any natural process, spiritual insights unfold in their own time, and embracing this flow allows for a more authentic and meaningful experience.
