Meet Jamie Rey-Hipolito

We were lucky to catch up with Jamie Rey-Hipolito recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jamie, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

My work ethic comes directly from my parents, who instilled in me from an early age what hard work truly means. They taught me that effort, consistency, and integrity matter, and that what you put in is exactly what you get out. Watching them lead by example showed me the value of perseverance and taking responsibility for my own success. Those lessons have stayed with me and continue to shape how I approach every opportunity, challenge, and goal I take on

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I create handcrafted jewelry designed to be worn every day while still feeling special and meaningful. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and made by hand using high-quality, gold-filled materials, allowing me to focus on both durability and timeless beauty. What excites me most is creating jewelry that feels personal—whether it’s a simple piece that becomes part of someone’s daily routine or a custom charm that marks a meaningful milestone or memory. JRH Jewelry Collection is rooted in intention, craftsmanship, and connection, with every piece reflecting the care and passion I pour into my work. I’m especially excited to continue introducing fresh, one-of-a-kind designs and evolving collections, as well as participating in upcoming markets where I can connect face-to-face with the community and share the stories behind each piece.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been consistency, willingness to learn, and connection. Consistency taught me that showing up regularly—especially on days when motivation is low—is what creates real progress over time. A willingness to learn allowed me to grow through trial and error, whether that meant refining my craft, learning the business side of things, or accepting feedback without fear. Connection has been equally important, as building genuine relationships with customers, fellow creatives, and the community has helped my brand grow in an authentic and sustainable way.

For those early in their journey, my advice is to stay patient and trust the process. Focus on improving a little every day, be open to learning from mistakes, and don’t be afraid to ask questions or lean on others for support. Most importantly, stay true to your vision—growth happens when you combine persistence with passion and purpose.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Yes, I’m always open to meaningful partnerships and collaborations that align with the values of JRH Jewelry Collection. I love working with fellow creatives, small business owners, stylists, boutiques, photographers, and event organizers who value craftsmanship, storytelling, and community. I’m especially drawn to collaborations that allow for creative expression—whether that’s co-creating custom pieces, pop-up events, styled shoots, or market partnerships. For anyone interested in collaborating, I’d love to connect—feel free to reach out through my social media channels or email to start the conversation and explore how we can create something special together.
