We recently connected with Jaquan Watson and have shared our conversation below.
Jaquan, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from my Grandparents. They always stayed moving and working hard. I learned everything from them.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I got by the name of Young Artist 612. I am an Artist. I own my own music company. I also be doing shows, performances all over the city of Minneapolis, Mn. I’m a up and coming musician.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I advise you to stay focused and true to what you believe in. By, me staying hungry I learned how to feed myself. I stayed recording songs I stayed doing shows I stayed dropping music. I stayed Consistent .
Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
They taught me discipline. How to correct my wrongs to right.
