Meet Jasdeep Mand

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jasdeep Mand. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jasdeep below.

Jasdeep, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

I learn or I would say got it from my dad. He was very tough guy and always help others. So not only this but learnt many other good lessons from my dad.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Hi, my name is inderjit singh I am the General Manager at Curry Culture. This restaurant is inspired from my dad. He was a cook too for 20 years. His cooking inspired me to open a restaurant. The food at my restaurant is from north part of India, Punjab. I tried my best to bring all the flavors of punjab in my cooking so people will enjoy the food from other part of the world.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Strong communication, adaptability, and leadership were the most impactful in my restaurant journey. They helped me work well with the team, handle busy times, and guide others with confidence. And for the beginners I would definitely say it might looks hard at the beginning but stay positive and focused for your goal, you will definitely lead to success.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

The very important person is my family. They helped me at each and every step.My family has been the most helpful in helping me overcome challenges and build essential skills. Their guidance, feedback, and support taught me how to improve, stay confident, and grow professionally.
I feel so blessed to have a family who supports me, guide me.
There were situations at early stage where sometimes I felt low but thanks to my family for all the love and support.
