We recently connected with Jase Shmoney and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Jase with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

Jase Shmoney also known as Foreign Gwapo, is a Hip-Hop artist from Boston Massachusetts. When it comes to his work ethic, he gets motivated by his family and friends and making them happy makes him go even harder to achieve his goals. With over 50,000 views on his YouTube channel, Jase Shmoney has been shown his creativity in his songs and music videos. In 2024 he has been recording and seen in big platforms and events such as The Grammys, The BET awards, the New York Fashion Week, Atlantic Records, iHeart Radio Jamn 94.5 and more.

Jase Shmoney is an artist based out of Boston Massachusetts. He made his debut on his YouTube channel when dropping his first song “OnTheLow” 6 years ago. People also know him by his artist name as Foreign Gwapo, and you can find all his music under that name on all platforms. Jase Shmoney is also affiliated with popular Massachusetts/Rhode Island artist and promoter, Vasjan as he always reps the clothing brand “Vas Baby”. Together they have been climbing up the ladder to make it in the music scene, as we see them in big stages & events such as The Grammys, The BET awards, NYFW, Atlantic Records, iheart Radio and many other important platforms.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

As mentioned in a recent interview with Unity Radio (theWoo508) , Jase Shmoney says that his desire to help other people make it its very impactful in his journey and that motivates him as well. He also states to always have a plan and surrender yourself with the right people that want to see your succeed. If you are early in your journey just keep working and great things will come your way.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

He also mentions that having a lot of music and picking the right songs to drop can be a challenge sometimes. He states that he will be dropping more consistently in 2025.
