Hi Jasmine, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

Hello, My name is Jasmine Beard, and I’ve been a makeup artist for over 12 years. For a long time, I struggled with my identity in the beauty industry because there are so many different paths you can take as a makeup artist. For years, I tried to mimic others, thinking that was the only way to build my career. But little did I know, God had other plans for me.

In 2013, while freelancing for IT Cosmetics in Atlanta, GA, the Lord began to reveal my true purpose. Every time I worked with someone, our sessions would naturally shift into something deeper-something spiritual. At first, I didn’t understand it. I thought, “Lord, I’m the last person qualified to give spiritual counsel.” But He placed me in this field for a reason: because so many women depend on their outward appearance for happiness.
I know firsthand what that feels like.

People notice me when I am fully made up. Compliments flow when I am in full glam, but without makeup, I am completely invisible. Society makes us believe we need to look a certain way to be valued or to get ahead, and that pressure can be crushing.

But God gave me peace in knowing that enhancing my beauty with makeup doesn’t mean I depend on it-it simply means I’m highlighting what He already gave me.
As a makeup artist, I understand we live in a world that often focuses on the surface. And yes, there are times when I want to look more polished-like for a gala, an interview, or a speaking engagement-because I want to feel my best. For some women, that may be just a little mascara and lip gloss. For me, it might be a full look with lashes. But the key is this: no matter what’s on the outside, I know God loves me the same. He doesn’t see me as someone putting material things before Him.

That’s why being a MUA and teaching inner strength outer beauty makeup classes means so much to me. It’s not just about makeup-it’s about reminding women that you can enjoy both inner strength that’s developed through God and outer beauty. The most important thing is to always put God first in everything you do.

Dauntless Beautyz Consulting was birthed in a season of wanting to feel complete and whole. To find ultimate peace, confidence, and purpose through God!

The word Dauntless means fearless, and for a long time, fear held me back from stepping into what God has called me to do. The Lord placed the name “Dauntless” on my heart as a daily reminder to speak life over myself-and to help others do the same.

The mission for Dauntless Beautyz Consulting is to empower women to conquer fear and walk boldly in their God-given purpose. I want to encourage women through faith and creativity to not to let depression, worry, anxiety, fear or doubt hold them back from becoming who God has called them to be. God has a plan for all of us, and sometimes, we need a little help from unexpected places!

At Dauntless Beautyz Consulting, I provide a range of beauty and empowerment services that combine both inner and outer transformation. I offer makeup services for all occasions-including special events, photoshoots, and personal glam sessions-along with makeup parties for children, makeup classes for groups and one-on-one sessions.

Each class includes an “Inner Strength, Outer Beauty” session designed to help women grow a spiritual confidence through God first, then transition into makeup techniques that enhance their natural beauty.

I host Inner Strength, Outer Beauty classes once a month, but you can also book me to bring the experience to your own gathering anytime, or even schedule a private one-on-one session just for you!
I offer bookings for personal one-on-one shopping experiences, where I guide you in finding the right makeup products for your skin type, tone, and lifestyle.

My ultimate goal is for every woman who books with Dauntless Beautyz Consulting to leave feeling spiritually empowered, mentally equipped, and confident-not only in their outer beauty skills, but also in the purpose God has placed within them.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I’m still learning how to see myself the way God sees me. All of us have a purpose, and God has already equipped each of us with something special. No matter what it looks like, we have to start seeing ourselves in a different light. We have to be bold and walk in spiritual confidence to pursue our purpose even when it feels scary. Don’t give up!

l’ve also learned that having a strategy and being organized are so important. Building a business or stepping into entrepreneurship is not for the weak. You need a clear game plan. Knowing what you’re going to do and how you’re going to execute it is key to running a strong and functional business.

Lastly, you have to have faith to stay in the business.The journey of entrepreneurship isn’t always pretty, not in the beginning, and sometimes not even in the middle. But what truly matters is how you finish the race.
If God called you to do this particular thing, don’t quit. Keep fighting, keep trusting, and stay in it – because what God promised will come to pass!

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

At Dauntless Beautyz Consulting, my heart is to serve women of all ages who want to feel confident inside and out. My ideal client is the woman who needs a guidance with her outer appearance, whether she’s looking to improve her makeup skills, book an artist for a special occasion, or join one of my hands-on or look-and-learn makeup classes.

I also specialize in mature makeup artistry, catering to women experiencing changes in their skin due to perimenopause or menopause. I understand that your skin’s needs evolve over time, and my goal is to help you feel beautiful, radiant, and confident at every stage.

But my heart goes deeper than makeup. My other ideal client is the woman who’s struggling with her inner beauty, the one who just needs a reminder that God can give her everything she needs to develop real confidence. I teach women that while makeup enhances your outer glow, true confidence comes from within, from God alone.

He’s the one who gives us lasting peace, joy, courage, and wisdom that no product can replace. Through Dauntless Beautyz Consulting, I help women rediscover both their spiritual strength and their natural beauty, empowering them to walk boldly in who God created them to be!
