Meet Jasmine Bradfeild

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jasmine Bradfeild a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Jasmine, thanks for taking the time to share your lessons with our community today. So, let’s jump right in – one of the most essential skills for unlocking our potential is self-discipline. Where does your self-discipline come from?
I took on yoga as early as I could. I was seeking a practice that kept my core values close to me as I began to journey through the world at 18. I took it a step further, once I developed my own practice, I became a teacher. Without out trying, I quickly became a role model to my students. Although I am now a teacher, my yoga practice helps me remain a student of life. I believe looking at the world through this gaze helps me keep a bright spot on the path ahead of me.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Sure, I am the Women’s Wellness Specialist at The Yoga Hive in Atlanta. This means I take my collection of experiences, education, and training, in both the medical in holistic fields and assist women in all stages of their life, from puberty to menopause. This may be in the form of wellness coaching, women-centered yoga classes, herbal support, doula or midwifery care.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Self- Confidence- in order to get others to believe in what you are doing, you have to first. Spend time boosting yourself up without stroking your own ego too much. Find ways to stay true to who you are and people who help you see your dream clear.

Self-Discipline- I took on yoga so I didn’t lose my self. Others find themselves in a strict routine to keep focus, whatever it takes, adopt a practice that reminds you of your purpose.

Network- I may not have alot of friends but I have made great connections with beautiful people who I have had the opportunity to work with once or many times. I have had students return after years of disconnecting. I am thankful for the network that has grown around me and and continue to share positive word-of-mouth testimonies

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
