Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jasmine Klapia. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jasmine, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
The Art That Speaks Back to Me
Like everyone else, I’ve often found myself asking life’s big questions: Why are we here? Who are we? What is the purpose of life? Why me?
From a young age, I felt a deep sense of artistry within me. I would draw endlessly, and over time I began to notice something unusual — my drawings seemed to speak back to me. It was as if, when I asked a question, the answer appeared through my art.
At first, I thought it might just be my imagination. But soon, I realized it was something more — perhaps my soul, or something divine, communicating through those images. Still, being young and uncertain, I ignored it. I didn’t know how to understand or trust it then.
As I grew older, however, an inner force kept pulling me back to that same path. No matter how much I tried to resist, I couldn’t. Art continued to call me — not just as an expression, but as a conversation with something greater than myself.
The Hole in the Sky
In August of 2001, I stepped onto the balcony and finally asked, “God, what do you want me to do?”
Then, a vision came to me — not in words, but in the form of art: red flowers blooming against a dark sky, and a white sphere that glowed like the moon. Something inside me whispered, “You have to paint this.”
It was strange, because I had never painted before. Yet the pull was undeniable.
As I painted the same flower over and over again, I grew restless. I asked aloud, “What is this anyway?”
“Patience,” replied a quiet, intuitive voice within me. “Be patient — and teach others.”
In that moment, I understood. The white sphere wasn’t just a moon. It was a hole in the sky — a symbol of communication between the human soul and the universe itself.
That was how my first painting “Patience”, and later my first book, The Hole in the Sky / Who Are We?, were born, and my personal spiritual awakening.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Our Mission
Currently, my team and I are focused on building and expanding three powerful, purpose-driven brands:
• Respectfully Sexy® – a makeup line that celebrates confidence and authenticity.
• JK Skin Fashion™ – a lifestyle brand offering makeup, lingerie, bags, and accessories that empower from the inside out.
• Message Through The Bottle® – a fragrance line designed to evoke emotion, memory, and healing.
While each brand is growing and evolving, one thing remains constant: my commitment to supporting mental health and emotional well-being. Every product we create carries a deeper message—each piece tells a story meant to raise awareness, promote healing, and resonate with those on their own journey.
Even as we pursue ambitious goals, I continue to provide guidance and support to those who need it. This mission lives at the heart of everything I do.
We’re excited to introduce our collections at upcoming holiday events, where people can experience our products in person. We also welcome opportunities to collaborate with individuals and companies from all backgrounds—especially those who share our passion for creativity, empowerment, and mental health awareness.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Empathy, Knowledge, and the Art of Becoming
Empathy.
If you don’t feel for others, why should others feel for you? It’s the same thing. As human beings, we need harmony, collective collaboration, and mutual understanding.
Empathy is one of my most important qualities. I say this because I feel other people’s feelings. That connection moves me to help in any way I can. We can’t do what we cannot — but we can do what we can. And I believe each of us can do something, no matter how small the act, to support one another.
This planet was created for us to experience life, live our story, learn, and leave a legacy. We tell our stories to the next generations, just as our ancestors and great teachers did for us. Not only so they can learn — but so they can be inspired to do better. For all of us. For humankind.
As for skills, though the books I wrote were meant for others, I ended up learning a lot from them myself.
From children’s books like In the Mood for Food, Friendship Cookie Seed, and Dreams Don’t Come True Unless We Share Them… to spiritual poetry (Who Is God?), self-help (The Hole in the Sky / Who Are We?), and even mysteries (God Does Not Lie, Missing Pieces) — every one of them taught me something.
Sometimes I even look back into my own books to find answers I can’t find elsewhere. It might sound strange, but it’s true.
Knowledge: A Path to Infinity
Let’s talk about knowledge. What is it?
To me, knowledge is the path to infinity. It never ends — no matter how much we study, how many centuries pass, or how deeply we specialize. If we were all-knowing, our world would be perfect. But it isn’t. We still have diseases. We still have unresolved issues. We still ask endless questions. We still don’t fully understand each other.
The most impactful knowledge I’ve gained hasn’t come from degrees or textbooks — it came from personal experience. And what I’ve learned is that we have a long way to go.
I don’t claim to give advice, because I’m not an expert in any one field. I’m just another human being — one with many experiences and a storyteller’s soul. That, I believe, is my expertise.
Finding Your Own Way
When it comes to the spiritual path, no one can walk it for you. It’s a personal journey. You must find it on your own.
If you’re starting something new — a career, a calling, or a change — remember: possibilities are endless. Don’t let anyone tell you who you are. You’ll find that answer in time, both within yourself and through the experiences life gives you.
And no, you don’t need everyone’s approval. There’s no magic wand. If things work — great. If not, there’s more waiting for you. Collect your lessons and move on. Don’t waste your precious time whining about it.
Keep going.

Do you think it’s better to go all in on our strengths or to try to be more well-rounded by investing effort on improving areas you aren’t as strong in?
Start with Baby Steps
Sometimes, we have no choice but to rely on our own strength.
Why? For many reasons. Maybe you don’t have the means to learn from others, to pay for help, or to include anyone else in your vision.
So what do you do? Wait another year? Another decade? Another lifetime?
No.
You start with baby steps.
You begin with the one thing you do know: This is what I want.
You may not know where the path will lead. But you go — step by step. And when you get there, you’ll know what to do next. Because each step you take — each experience — prepares you for the bigger picture.
Life is unpredictable. Things change. We can’t always know what’s ahead. You might have to change direction — but don’t change the goal if that goal truly lives in your heart.
If you find yourself constantly giving up or switching dreams, maybe it’s time to ask: Was it really my dream to begin with?
So, take time to figure it out. Ask yourself honestly:
Who do I want to be?
Then start. Take the first step. Even if it’s small.
You don’t need all the answers today. Just enough courage to move forward.
