We recently connected with Jasmine Noghrey and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Jasmine with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I really got my work ethic from my mom who is an immigrant and refugee. She had to start working from a very young age and has always been a role model for me. Growing up, I watched her work tirelessly to provide for our family, often balancing multiple jobs while still making time to support and encourage me. She instilled in me the values of independence, resilience, and the importance of hard work.
Seeing her perseverance despite the challenges she faced inspired me to always push myself, stay determined, and never take opportunities for granted. She taught me that success is not just about talent but about dedication, consistency, and the willingness to keep going even when things get tough.
Because of her example, I have always been motivated to work hard, help others, and create something that makes a difference. Her strength and determination are what drive me every day, whether it is through my work as an occupational therapist, a special education instructor, a professor, or as the founder of my sensory toy company. Everything I do is rooted in the values she passed down to me, and I hope to continue that legacy by inspiring and supporting others.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am an occupational therapist, a special education instructor, and a professor, and I have dedicated my career to helping individuals of all abilities reach their full potential. My passion for inclusivity and accessibility led me to start my own sensory toy company, which focuses on creating products that are not only fun but also beneficial for people of all ages and abilities.
What makes my work so special is that it bridges the gap between play and therapy. Sensory toys can be a powerful tool for individuals with sensory processing differences, autism, ADHD, anxiety, and other challenges, but they are also enjoyable for everyone. I wanted to create a brand that is truly inclusive—where kids, adults, parents, therapists, and educators can all find value in our products.
Right now, I am focused on expanding our reach and spreading awareness about the importance of sensory play. We have some exciting new products launching soon, and I am working on collaborations with educators and therapists to develop resources that complement our toys. I also continue to teach and work directly with students and clients, which allows me to stay connected to the real world needs of the people I aim to help.
At the heart of everything I do is the belief that everyone deserves access to tools that support their growth, well-being, and joy. Whether through my work as a therapist, educator, or business owner, my goal is to make a lasting impact by promoting inclusivity, understanding, and accessibility for all.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back on my journey, the three most impactful qualities that have shaped my success are dedication, hard work, and patience.
Dedication has been the foundation of everything I do. Whether as an occupational therapist, special education instructor, professor, or business owner, I have always remained committed to my mission of helping others. There will always be obstacles along the way, but staying focused on your purpose and pushing forward despite challenges is what truly leads to success. For those starting out, I encourage them to find their passion and commit to it fully. When you believe in what you do, your dedication will keep you moving forward even in difficult times.
Hard work is something I learned early on from my mother, and it has been essential in my journey. Nothing meaningful comes easy, and every step I have taken has required effort, persistence, and a willingness to go the extra mile. Whether it was studying, working with clients, building a business, or teaching students, I have always put in the time and effort to grow and improve. My advice to others is to embrace the process and understand that success is built on consistency and effort over time. Stay disciplined, keep learning, and never be afraid to put in the work.
Patience is just as important as hard work because growth and success do not happen overnight. Whether working with students, helping clients through therapy, or growing a business, I have learned that real progress takes time. It is easy to get discouraged when results do not come immediately, but patience allows you to stay the course and trust the journey. For those starting out, I would remind them that setbacks and slow progress are all part of the process. Stay patient, keep improving, and trust that your efforts will pay off in the long run.
By embracing dedication, hard work, and patience, I have been able to build a career and business that make a real difference. My advice to anyone just starting out is to stay committed, work hard, and trust that with time and effort, they will achieve their goals.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Yes! Companies, offices, and schools looking for sensory experiences-I would love to collaborate with you. I am always looking to partner with educators, therapists, businesses, and organizations that are passionate about inclusivity and the benefits of sensory play. Whether it is integrating sensory tools into classrooms, workplaces, or community programs, I believe that everyone can benefit from sensory experiences that promote focus, relaxation, and overall well-being.
I am especially interested in working with schools, therapy centers, corporate wellness programs, and community organizations that want to create more inclusive environments. Sensory tools are not just for children-they can help people of all ages with focus, stress relief, and emotional regulation.
If you are interested in collaborating, whether it is through product integration, workshops, or custom sensory solutions, I would love to connect.
