Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jay Chism. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Jay with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
My strong work ethic is deeply rooted in my faith in God. I’m truly grateful for the continuous blessings and motivation that have guided me towards my goals. Without God given support and focus, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Additionally, my family has been a tremendous source of inspiration. Witnessing the achievements of my fathers and godfathers, as well as our success with Nikki’s Delights, has fueled my desire to explore new ventures and push my boundaries.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m a multifaceted individual balancing the roles of husband, father, minister, artist, business owner, and social media personality. While my journey is still unfolding, I’m grateful for the opportunities and accomplishments I’ve experienced so far.
Growing up, I found inspiration in the church, wrestling, and music. It’s a blessing to see how these early passions have contributed to my current pursuits. This year, I’m excited to launch Wild Media Production Company, a media company focused on graphic design, content production, and consulting; as well as a wrestling based media and apparel brand, West Coast Graps . Additionally, I’m partnering with my wife on Nikki’s Delights, where I’m eager to contribute my skills and support her business growth.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Patience, consistency, and discipline have been instrumental in my journey. Understanding that Rome wasn’t built in a day has helped me approach challenges with perseverance. Even when facing setbacks or a lack of support, I’ve maintained a consistent effort. Additionally, I’ve learned the value of strategic investments. Small but thoughtful investments in myself and my endeavors have significantly accelerated my progress when combined with patience and consistency.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
One of my biggest challenges has been increasing local awareness of my entrepreneurial ventures. While I’ve built a global following through my work in wrestling media, I’ve focused on expanding my reach within the LA independent wrestling community and informing my local network about my businesses. My goal for the coming year is to raise capital for the next phase of my projects and establish a stronger presence in my local market.
