Meet Jayden King

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jayden King. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jayden below.

Jayden, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?

I’m constantly listening/exposing myself to new things. Whether that be film, music, art, inspiration can come from anywhere so I always like to familiarize myself with everything that’s out there

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am KTHKNG (Jayden Keith King), born on February 16, 2000, in Draper, Utah, and I am a rising talent in the music industry. My journey into music began at the age of 13 while I was living in Arizona. This early start laid the foundation for my burgeoning career, which saw me perform at the 2022 Arizona Hip Hop Festival, marking my first significant public appearance.

In 2023, I returned to Utah, where I quickly made a name for myself by selling out two headline shows. My growing popularity was further cemented when I shared the stage with platinum recording artist bbno$. Currently, I am focused on securing a slot at a music festival this year, aiming to expand my reach and influence in the industry.

My music has resonated with a growing audience, as evidenced by my 3.1k monthly listeners on Spotify and over 30k total streams across all platforms. My dedication and talent continue to propel me forward, making me a promising figure in the world of hip hop.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I think the qualities that have made me successful are my persistence, my open mind, and my willingness to network and meet all that I can. I think the best advice I can give to someone just starting out is to collaborate with as many people as you can! Network network network!

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

I think I’d not allow any inhibitions to halt my creativity. I’d create any and all vibes I wanted to, because someone out there might need that from me at a certain time in their lives
