Jaye, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

My purpose, just as anyone else, is GOD given. When GOD gives us a purpose, we don’t have to go looking for it. It’s right there. All we have to do is cultivate and perfect it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Jayez Pad Entertainment (JPE), is a music/media production company that offers music production, distribution, marketing and production services to independent, as well as established artist. JPE Media offers audio and video production services to radio and television stations, churches, small businesses and corporations. JPE is an all inclusive, in-house service provider. This allows us to keep our cost for services lower than many companies, and work within our clients budget. JPE Media also produces a weekly top 30 radio countdown. The show features the top 30 Gospel Music songs of the week for radio airplay according to Billboard. Show features include “The Word Of The Week”, “The Indie Artist Spotlight”, and “Indie Artist Now”. The show is syndicated through JPE Media in several different markets around the country and in the UK. With well over 35 years of experience in the radio industry, the show is hosted by myself.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

My most important quality and the one I would recommend to anyone with a vision to do something greater, is my relationship with CHRIST! Everything and anything else loses its validity without this. Next, I would encourage anyone with a vision to hone their skill set. Always be the hardest worker in the room. I honed my skills in music production and audio engineering over the years. I also have a B.S. in music production, and Masters in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University.
