Meet Jazmyn Armstrong

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jazmyn Armstrong. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Jazmyn, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose through pain, prayer, and deep listening. My journey began with my own need for healing — emotionally, spiritually, and physically. As a mother, a woman, and a seeker, I felt called to reclaim my power and restore what had been passed down through generations: the sacred wisdom of the womb, the Earth, and the Divine Feminine.

Fasting became a spiritual reset for me, not just physically, but energetically. Herbs became my allies. Touch became my ministry. Through massage therapy, holistic living, plant-based nutrition, and ancient practices like yoni steaming and castor oil packs, I began to see healing not as a destination but a sacred journey. A remembering. A return.

What started as a personal transformation blossomed into a mission — to create safe, sacred spaces for women to heal, restore, and remember who they truly are. That calling birthed Her Temple Collective and Temple Apothecary, where we honor ancestral wisdom, the cycles of nature, and the sacredness of sisterhood.

I didn’t just find my purpose — it found me, once I chose to surrender. Now I walk in alignment with it every day, helping others return to their temple within.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

My work lives at the intersection of sacred healing, ancestral wisdom, and feminine restoration. I am a licensed massage therapist, herbalist, and writer — but more than titles, I am a vessel for divine healing and remembrance.

Through Her Temple Collective, I offer bodywork rooted in spiritual renewal and nervous system regulation, often incorporating ritual touch, energy clearing, and womb-centered care. I handcraft yoni steam pots, herbal blends, feminine wellness products, and body care rituals through Temple Apothecary — all created with intention and a deep reverence for the feminine temple.

In addition, I prepare fresh-pressed juices and herbal teas aligned with the seasons and cycles, supporting internal detox and energetic alignment. As a writer, my pen is a sacred tool — I share poetic reflections, affirmations, and ancestral truths through Substack and Instagram, giving voice to the healing journey we often carry in silence.

What’s most special about this path is how deeply personal it is — everything I create is something I’ve needed myself. And now I have the honor of sharing that medicine with other women.

Soon, I plan to expand publicly — setting up wellness booths at local events and eventually opening a physical retail + studio space for Her Temple Collective to offer bodywork, products, workshops, and community healing experiences. It’s more than a brand — it’s a movement to help women return home to their bodies, their wombs, and their power.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three most impactful elements in my journey have been:

1. Intuition
2. Discipline
3. Sacred Knowledge (Ancestral + Herbal Wisdom)

Intuition guided me when logic didn’t make sense. It told me when to rest, when to fast, when to shift direction, and when to keep going. I’ve learned that building a strong relationship with your inner voice is the foundation of purpose. For those early in their journey, I encourage daily stillness, journaling, and time in nature — that’s where your inner compass strengthens.

Discipline is what carried me through the seasons of doubt and discomfort. Healing, entrepreneurship, and motherhood require you to show up even when motivation fades. I learned to fall in love with routine, ritual, and the small, quiet steps.

Sacred Knowledge — especially herbal medicine, womb wisdom, and ancestral teachings — gave my work meaning. Learning how to heal through plants, touch, and spirit made me realize that my body and lineage already held the answers.

My advice: anchor your actions to your “why,” and let devotion lead when inspiration is low. If you’re just starting, be a student first. Read, research, observe your elders, and let your lived experience be your greatest teacher.

When you combine these three — a tuned-in spirit, consistent practice, and ancient wisdom — you begin to walk in purpose, not just chase it.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was offer unwavering support and encouragement in everything I set my mind to — especially in the realm of my health and healing journey. Whether I was exploring plant-based living, launching my wellness business, or stepping into my role as a healer and entrepreneur, they consistently uplifted me and reminded me of my power.

They also instilled in me the importance of preparation — to always have multiple plans, so that if one path doesn’t unfold as expected, I’m not discouraged. That wisdom has kept me grounded and resilient through life’s many pivots.

Above all, witnessing their undeniable work ethic deeply shaped my sense of discipline and perseverance. They showed me what it means to never give up — to keep showing up even when it’s hard, and to always move with integrity. That foundation has carried me through every chapter of my purpose.
