Meet Jazmyne Rogers

We recently connected with Jazmyne Rogers and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jazmyne, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I never thought of myself as resilient or having resilience, ever until I turned 25, the big shift out of many shifts people talk about. The moment your brain fully develops or at least your frontal lobe for the most part. I had a mental breakdown because I was scared, unsure, exhausted from the job I had. I had asked myself what got me this far. I had always thought I was going to be dead before 18. I honestly had no idea where life was heading or what direction to go in. I still don’t sometimes, I don’t think anyone does. This year I have spent most of my time re-living, uncovering trauma, re-parenting myself. That made me realize just how resilient I was in my own life. Just because I don’t remember ages 0-11 doesn’t mean I can’t thrive now. I still struggle with to self-regulate sometimes and being in the unknown can still be scary. Though that is my definition of resilience.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I create and hold space for healing to occur during sessions. During a tarot session or a Reiki session my number one goal is creating a safe space to relax and get answers to questions you have in mind. I am also an asipiring tattoo artist and wish to incorpate the two aspects together in a unquie way that feels good. What is exciting to me about Reiki and tarort is that it feels like a gateway to understanding yourself better. Reiki helps you process or release unaware enegries in your aurua feild. While Tarot is a tool of divination used for uncovering parts of yourself that you may already know the anwser to and just needed to shed light on the topic. Tarot is also a good tool for jouranling promots and uncovering what you may not so much be aware of. Through the use of Reiki and Tarot, and spiritual guidance I took a leap of faith by trusting my intuition and earlier this year created Astral Balance. I actully also just started to create crystal necklaces and intention candles for manifesting for Astral Balance as a way to expand my creativity in my business and help women feel beautiful with intention based jewerly and candles.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Three qualites, skills, areas of knowlege that were most impactful in my journey would be to have humilty, trsuting your intuion no matter what anyone says and kindness/Empathy. Not just to myself but to others. The advice I have for people early in their own spiritual journey is to understand the bascis of the laws of the universe. Once you understand the 12 laws of the uniervse manifesting becomes easier. Moving through obstcles doesnt get easier but you have better knwdolge about moving through them. As well as you will forget everything you learn and re learn things through people you meet as a reminder to start practining again what you left off at. Kindess and Empathy towards yourself because the journey is never easy though using these skills will move you through the toughest mental mind games.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

I would have to say solve for happy by Mo Gawdat, and what is so inspiring to me is that he uses the word “nuggets” in his podcast specifially nuggets of wisdom as his intro. A few of the most impactful nuggets of wisdom in his book would be a section in the negining of the book titled ” the voice is not you” a qoue that best explains this is “Naughty thoughts are simply presented to you for your considertaion; thats what the brain does. What you do with those thoughts is up to you. You do not have to obey.” This part of the book helped me understand and seprate my thoughts vs who I am as a person. I have read a ton of self help books in the last 3 years and this book for me breaks down everything so simply and easy for me to digest, not sure if that has to do with ADHD or not.
