Meet Jdouble C

We were lucky to catch up with Jdouble C recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jdouble , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
I would say my resilience comes from my parents. They taught me and my brother, that no matter what, get the job done. Work hard and the results will come. They may not be there right when you want them, but they get there on time. I am a God fearing man as well, if I’ve ever felt like I wanted to give up, I’d pray, and keep it pushing. The motivation for my resilience now are all my supporters. The level of love and connection I receive, it can be one person, that’s what I admire the most.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
The next steps I say, I really excited. Trying to build a following isn’t necessarily easy but it’s fine when you get the hang of it. I love performing and that’s my next step to building on top of my foundation. The message that I spread is love. He comes in all different forms. Beautiful, ugly, and down, right hurtful. But nevertheless, it’s beautiful. One of the dope is artist to ever do this shit, J. Cole said, ‘it’s calling love. don’t nobody sing about it no more.’ My story, I feel will relate to a lot of others that, and will explain why people don’t sing about love right now. The answer will be in the music.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
God first. That’s my most important quality. I was in the hole, thinking that love didn’t exist with people. I became depressed. When I realized that I had all the tools to be the best version of myself that’s when I go to work. The words found me and I just put it on wax. I would my other qualities are determination, and a positive mindset. No matter how many setbacks I need to take no matter how stressful it is I am determined to give my heart out to others. I know how it feels to feel alone. It sucks, but sometimes you doing to go through that. Don’t give up. Wake up the next morning, you have another 24 hours if that’s even enough. I am determined to do my part. But I can’t do that if I’m always thinking negative. I do have help. I am blessed to be around people who will check an attitude or change my point of view. Contrary to Gemini beliefs, i’m ok with others talking to me and checking my behavior. I helps me become a better person. With the positive mindset I know that all things are possible. And that’s how I go about life. God first, determination, and a positive mindset. You put your heart to test your balance to come out with the best results possible. But your heart has to actually be in it.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I’m looking for any anybody there collaborate with. It’s amazing how many people are out here in their thought process. I learned that connection is very important. And that’s all things to Maine. A producer and engineer out of Los Angeles, California. He’s also my cousin so he teaches me the game pretty close, but also makes sure I’m humble at the end of the day. Whether it’s clothing, music, or just constant. I’m willing to collaborate with everyone.
