Meet Jean Titus aka Titus Unlimited

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jean Titus, more known as Titus Unlimited, a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Jean , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so, maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Sure thing. I’ve always been an athletic and active person but I never knew the things I know now about food and nutrition and how it affects our health and wellness. Food and lifestyle habits literally are what makes us or breaks us.

After the death of my mother in 2002, my perspective on life completely changed and I pivoted to focusing on improving my life by investing in my health. She was what I considered a healthy person that maintained a good weight and did not eat unhealthy foods or lived an unhealthy lifestyle. It perplexed me how she was able to get sick with cancer and what led to it. I wanted to know what had gone wrong because both my parents worked in the medical field and in principle led a healthy lifestyle. So, I spent the next decade researching the topic and realized that 95% of diseases can be traced back to health and lifestyle choices, our food is our medicine but can also be our poison. I realized that in these current times people were contracting diseases way more often than before and I really wanted to find an explanation. It is the choices we make when we pick our nutrition and our health habits that make a difference between a person being healthy or sick and I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives for the better. If I didn’t save my mother, at least I could save someone else’s.

And just like that, I not only improved my own health but also helped the people around me to do the same and that feeling I get when I know that thanks to me someone genuinely feels better than ever because they don’t need their prescription meds anymore, they are healthy, feel food and are finally living their best life, is something money can’t buy.

And that is how I found my purpose.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
See, I have done many things in my life. For example, I worked as a financial advisor for some of the biggest names on Wall Street, I have owned several businesses, I’ve invested in real state, etc. but today I help people build the one asset that money can’t buy: GREAT HEALTH.
Even myself, I have been working out, lifting weights for over 30 years and I’ve always been an athletic kind of person but there was a time when I was about 237 pounds. I was carrying a lot of excess weight. So, I began to clean out my body – to detox. I applied the knowledge I gained from my research, I turned around my health and I now help others do the same. Knowledge by itself is not power; only applied knowledge is power because now you do something with it.

Look, I am not a personal trainer. I mean, you can find a million videos of folks who say they can teach you the ultimate workout plan. Truthfully, you’re only in the gym for about 1-2 hours a day. The rest of the time, those 22-23 hours, should be invested in addressing your diet and lifestyle. If you eat crap, you’re going to look like crap. If you’re serious, just as you make time for your job and everything else important, you will make time for your health and wellness.

There’s so much false information out there and there’s more money in keeping people unhealthy. But when social media got a hold of me and the volume became unbelievable, I began to market my self-preservation program and I eventually made it into a plan and then into a business. That’s how Titus Unlimited was formed.

Nowadays, I have over 450,000 combined followers on social media, and over 100 million views on several of my videos, including “Age is just a number”. My health and wellness platform continues to grow at a fast rate, and I am the sole owner of “Unlimited Supplements”, a full all natural and high-quality supplement products line as well as “Unlimited Wellness” which is my latest wellness program and which I use to give people personalized meal plans, workouts, motivation and overall health & nutrition information. I also have become a highly sought-after expert, advisor, coach, trainer, and motivator, and I offer educational and life-changing advice for healthy living, fitness, biohacking, and overall wellness on a daily basis.

I am proud to say that I have made other people’s wellbeing not only my purpose, but my business.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The 3 things that have helped me the most in my journey were, first, the discipline, values and consistency my mother instilled in me which always keep me going despite the obstacles in my path. Secondly, the medical knowledge and life advice I received from my father who was a doctor himself and always talked to me about medicine but also about the value of investing in and caring about people. And lastly, the time I have invested in acquiring the knowledge I have today and the fact that I found a way to make my living by helping others. I only succeed when people succeed and that is an amazing feeling.

My advice to people who are early in their journey is to find their purpose and stop searching for motivation because motivation is a fickle thing to rely on, sometimes you just don’t have it, but purpose is what needs to be done to get where you want to be. Keep your eyes on the price and never give up; learn from your failures because there is little to learn from success. Also remember that knowledge is a dynamic factor, like my father said, “You never know nothing about the same thing twice”. This means that your mind should always remain open to knowledge because you can always learn something new. Lastly, be willing to do what it takes: success is an endurance game so you either have what it takes, or you don’t. Nothing good comes easy.

How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal client is someone that is done with the stereotypes and social acceptance about the things that are supposed to come with age. Someone that is really serious about being healthy, staying away from medication and that wants to unlock the unlimited potential that relies in all of us. That is why I called myself Titus Unlimited; I simply don’t believe in limitations and certainly not in those that society wants us to believe in and accept just because we are “old” or “older”. For me, age is just a number.

I help people to become the best version of themselves using food and lifestyle choices as the vehicle to achieve optimal health and wellness (which includes a medication-free life). So, if someone is reading this article right now, I would want them to ask themselves the following questions:

How long has it been since you felt good? Do you want to look and feel the best version of yourself? Are you currently overweight and/or on prescription drugs but would love to make a change and just be healthy?

If the answers lead them to the conclusion that they need to make a change, then I would love for them to join me in their journey to being the best version of themselves and unlocking the unlimited potential that resides inside of all of us. Discover how to change your relationship with food, create healthy lifestyle habits, make informed choices, stay active and strong, while also finding what your purpose is for entering this journey called life.
