Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jeannett Martinez . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jeannett, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I had 2 hip surgeries and went through menopause before I turned 40. As my own health issues began to evolve, I maxed out on the ability for insurance medicine to help me recover. Functional and regenerative medicine gave my body the help it needed to regain control of my life. When my body started to heal, I couldn’t in good conscience keep working in a limited space that keeps people unwell. Inspired by my own healing, I made a conscious choice to shift my focus. With over 10 years years of combined medical experience in the emergency department, urgent care, and primary care, I was ready to open my own clinic in 2018. I opened a regenerative and functional medical clinic, with my life partner and business partner, Zachary Lopez, in Albuquerque, NM. We have now expanded options to include direct primary care, IV vitamins, and longevity medicine.
Having personally experienced every treatment offered in our clinic, I’m fueled by a passion to share these life-changing therapies with others. From chronic pain, early menopause to sexual dysfunction, these were the battlegrounds of my own recovery, that I transformed into areas of expertise.
Treating chronic pain, hormone replacement/balancing and sexual dysfunction, with a functional/regenerative medical approach, has become my area of expertise because these were areas my body needed help in recovering.
Now I am delighted to invite you into my clinic to learn how clean, green, body beneficial medicine of the future, can help you! We love looking for ways to live healthier, longer and functional lives as well as give their patients greater opportunities to thrive. We love making people well!
I did not start out with the great knowledge of how to be successful and avoiding the bumps in the road. I had to learn business the hard way and we’re still learning. But my heart and the heart of those who support me, were always in the right place.
My two surgeries with the most difficult recoveries were from bone spurs growing into my psoas and in my Achilles tendon. Currently, I strive for light walking, healthy cooking/juicing and daily meditations. I have learned how to treat my vascular flares, histamine intolerance, general pain, brain fog, early menopause, fatigue and more. I have yet to master the strange development of the random bone spurs in unexpected and complicated parts of anatomy. My bone spurs are not in traditional places or for “normal” reasons.
Making peace that I am not “normal” and need to adapt to my condition was a hard pill to swallow. I am more complicated than most of my patients. And for that, I am thankful for my body’s dysfunctions helping me to learn how to help everyone else’s.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
We are never afraid to adventure! We have been to both national and international conferences and presented virtually for a Stem Cell conference in England. We will always look for the opportunity to learn about the latest advances in medicine and what works in this country as well as in other countries. I love the opportunities we have had to meet amazing practitioners around the world, in the name of healing and for health. So many practitioners we met along the way still message us, asking to learn what we do.
Truthfully, it is a personal drive to be healthy and feel well. I have autoimmune issues manifested in my early 30’s, that makes it a struggle to live a smooth, active life. When the things I started to learn helped me, I validated the research and training and offer it in my clinic. We now have expanded into learning the protocols for stem cells, exosomes and peptides, to bring cellular regeneration into a new era.
I did not start out with the great knowledge of how to be successful and avoiding the bumps in the road. I had to learn business the hard way and we’re still learning. But my heart and the heart of those who support me, were always in the right place.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
From chronic pain, early menopause, profound brain fog, to sexual dysfunction, these were the battlegrounds of my own recovery, that I transformed into areas of expertise. Treating chronic pain, hormone replacement/balancing, cellular healing and sexual dysfunction, with a functional/regenerative medical approach, has become my area of expertise because these were areas my body needed help in recovering.
I am always learning as no two patients are alike.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Yes, we are always looking for highly educated, ethically motivated people to collaborate and partner with, to spread the word and make this new medicine more accessible. We are looking for doctors, scientists, specialists, nurses, business leaders and sponsors.
