Meet Jenic Mantashian

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jenic Mantashian. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Jenic, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
It’s such an interesting question because it challenges oneself to think about what purpose is. On a fundamental level, my purpose has always been present, which is to adventure through life and traverse many diverse experiences in order to develop as a soul!

However, my purpose as it relates to my current mission, well I think it’s fair to say that I did not find my purpose but rather my purpose found me!

Back in 2019, I found myself at a profound crossroads. I was deeply misaligned with the life I was living, and despite years of inner exploration and spiritual growth, my outer world felt heavy, stagnant and out of sync with who I was becoming. I knew something needed to change, but I couldn’t yet see what that change was meant to be.

Well one fated night, I was lying in bed crying, no longer wanting to go on. I prayed to the Divine and asked for a sign to show me that I was on the right path. The next morning I woke from a dream and had an unexpected vision of a children’s brand that I was to create. I ran to my computer and started typing up all the ideas that flooded my mind. This moment marked the inception of my purpose and the four-year transformation process that followed before I was ready to launch my work publicly.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Shortly after my purpose came to light, I began dismantling my life, both professionally and personally. I left New Jersey to move to Mexico during the pandemic and later to Peru and Bali on a spiritual pilgrimage. I also quit my corporate job, unsure of how I would make it financially.

During that time, life had many twists and turns. But I was always redirected back to my children’s project. It has been a very long birthing period but in hindsight I now understand that I had to personally transform and heal before I could bring through such a divine gift to these pure little souls.

So I’m proud to share that I just launched my brand’s first product earlier this year which is called Little Lightworkers Consciousness Cards for Kids, available for sale on Amazon.

The best way I can describe Little Lightworkers is that it is a consciousness brand for children. I am in the process of creating programs, products and tools to enable parents and teachers to empower children by helping them embrace their inherent gifts. Our children are so vulnerable and now more than ever they need protection and guidance. I believe the greatest protection comes from within when we stand in own light and navigate our lives connected to the heart. So that is my mission; guiding them back to this sacred way of living.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Patience, perseverance and faith are some words that come to mind when I think about the hallmarks of my journey. If someone told me 5 years ago that I would be launching a consciousness brand for children that could impact the world for better I would have never believed it. However, deep down I always knew there was something bigger for me, something I could not see yet. So embracing the idea of divine timing and having the patience and faith to let things unfold was necessary.

In terms of advice for others, cultivating a strong spiritual practice is something I would recommend. As when you are connecting with a higher power it’s far easier to surrender and trust the process.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I believe collaboration is critical in order to successfully deliver against a vision of this magnitude. It’s like going back to the tribal ways and pulling on the unique levers of each individual in order to create for the betterment of the community.

I’m currently in the process of creating several consciousness products aimed at children and require the help of creatives who embody the frequency of love and are skilled at connecting with children through their work.
