Meet Jenn Andreou

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jenn Andreou. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jenn below.

Jenn, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I realized and gave voice to my life purpose, JOY, through an exercise during my coach training program in 2017. Since then I have been purposeful to live from JOY. I find it in every day moments as the sun shines on my face, watching my dog, Dougie, play and spending time with my husband. Joy is present in my Executive Coaching and as a Grief Recovery Method Specialist. I find so much Joy is seeing my clients recovery from the pain of a loss and be able to experience life’s joys again by reaching their hopes and dreams.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am an Executive Coach and Grief Recovery Method Specialist. I started Springboard Coaching to empower clients to move towards their goals and dreams one step at a time. What I found was that people are stuck and don’t know how to move forward. I became a Grief Recovery Method Specialist to give them a tool that is the HOW. The how to get emotional complete around their losses to be able to grow powerfully in Coaching. The most exciting thing about what I do is to educate people in The Grief Recovery Method and support them in taking the actions and by doing so seeing them able to experience joy by living a happy, healthy, and hope filled life. What’s so special about it to me, is using my life and Grief Recovery Method journey in my work and always coming from my heart to theirs.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Relationships – I am a relationship builder, connector and nourisher. I believe relationship are the most important thing in life, we thrive in life if we are consistently building them, connecting our relationships with other relationships and nourishing the ones we have with by giving them attention through outreach and spending time with them. Advice – Reach out to one person a day personally or professionally.

Keep Learning – I am always learning and looking for ways to grow professionally and personally. Now in my journey I am having fun doing it, it is not a pass/fail learning it is curiosity, fun, and heartfelt learning.
Advice – take the class, join the team, read the book, book the trip and keep learning about yourself.

Priority #1 – SELF-CARE – Take great care of self in all areas: physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. I make this a priority each day. My well being is #1!
Advice – Do one thing a day just for you!

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
My mom modeled what is it like to have a heart of gold. She was loving, caring and gave me the belief that I could do and be anything. My dad’s impact was his ease in developing relationships with everyone he met. He knew everyone in town and valued all of his relationships.
