We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jenna Ridenhour a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenna, appreciate you sitting with us today. Maybe we can start with a topic that we care deeply about because it’s something we’ve found really sets folks apart and can make all the difference in whether someone reaches their goals. Self discipline seems to have an outsized impact on how someone’s life plays out and so we’d love to hear about how you developed yours?
My self discipline comes from my military background. Being in the United States Army taught me a sense of integrity and time management that I’ve carried with me throughout my life ever since my time in the service.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I launched Regal Reflections in February 2020. I love nothing more than an entertaining event and a fun memory. With Regal Reflections, my clients get a royal experience for them and their guests! I pride myself on providing fun photos for all to enjoy.
I have invested countless hours into researching the industry and building my business to ensure my clients receive a high end experience. It is my pleasure to keep it fun, lighthearted, and keep those smiles coming!
As new technologies emerge, Regal Reflections will focus on keeping up with the latest photo booth trends.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
My journey started during a pandemic. The ability to pivot was a fundamental necessity to become a successful business. The skills required to do this was marketing correctly, networking with industry professionals, and building a reputation.
Meeting client needs without the ability to do in person events was a huge help in establishing a customer base and brand image during those times. Never miss an opportunity to grow your brand. Speak with other professionals in your industry. Take courses. Attend seminars.
