Meet Jennie Beaudoin

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jennie Beaudoin. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Jennie, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

Resilience comes from being put into situations where there are no clear answers.
Through my previous work experience and obstacles of having to “just figure it out” while not losing sight of what is best for the client and their customers – I was able to build resilience,
This is something you gain, you’re not born with. I also do not take failure as a shortcoming but rather something to learn from and minimize the risk, to in turn, minimize failure. Sure, things may not work out every time you try a different strategy or switch directions, but it doesn’t mean you’re a failure – it means you have the resilience and confidence to try something different- and another big takeaway is to always learn from the results and outcome.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m the Founder and Growth Marketing Strategist behind Bold North Marketing.
I work with businesses across multiple industries to turn marketing into something that drives revenue—not just visibility. My background is rooted in operations and execution, so I don’t just build strategies that look good on paper—I focus on what’s going to move the needle, whether that’s through digital advertising, SEO, content, or local market positioning.

What excites me most about what I do is helping businesses simplify things that often feels overwhelming. A lot of companies are stuck trying to keep up with trends, platforms, and constant changes in marketing. I love stepping in, cutting through the noise, and building a clear, focused plan that aligns with real business goals. There’s nothing better than seeing a client go from uncertain and reactive to confident and in control of their growth.

Another part of my work that I find meaningful is supporting other business owners. There’s often a gap between what people think running a business looks like and what it actually requires day-to-day. I try to be transparent about that reality, while also showing what’s possible when you stay consistent, make smart decisions, trust your instincts, and create a solid reliable team around you.

As for what’s new, I’m continuing to expand how I support clients beyond just execution—focusing more on high-level strategy, long-term growth planning, and helping businesses build sustainable marketing systems. The goal is to not just generate short-term results, but to create a foundation that gives companies the ability to grow with confidence and clarity over time.

At the core of everything I do is simple belief: businesses are people, people who have poured their hearts into something they believed in – and helping people is where my heart lives.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Three things that had the biggest impact on my journey building Bold North Marketing: adaptability, execution, and confidence.

Adaptability
Marketing—and business in general—changes constantly. What worked six months ago might not work today. Early on, I learned how important it is to stay flexible, test new approaches, and not get too attached to one strategy or idea.
Advice: Stay curious and keep learning, but more importantly, be willing to pivot quickly. Don’t wait for something to completely fail before you adjust—pay attention to what the data and results are telling you.

Execution Over Perfection
One of the biggest differentiators in my career has been the ability to take action. A lot of people get stuck overthinking, waiting until something is perfect before they launch or make a move. In reality, progress comes from doing, testing, and refining.
Advice: Start before you feel ready. You’ll learn more from taking small imperfect steps than you will from over planning and no action being made. Build, launch, evaluate, and improve—that cycle is where real growth happens.

Confidence
Confidence for me didn’t come naturally—it came from experience. From making decisions, owning outcomes (good and bad), and realizing I could handle more than I thought. Over time, that built trust in myself.
Advice: Don’t wait until you feel confident to take action. Confidence is a result of action, not a prereq. Put yourself in situations that challenge you, and over time, you’ll start to see your capabilities differently.

Overall: consistency beats intensity. You don’t need to have everything figured out right away—you just need to keep showing up, making decisions, and moving forward. That’s what builds momentum, and ultimately that’s what builds a business.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?

Feeling overwhelmed is usually not about too much work—it’s more about too many open loops.

Being a busy mom, homeowner, do-it-youself’er, business owner, and a bit of a perfectionist the feeling of “overwhelmed” is very real to me, and I’m thankful I’ve learned through mindfulness, prioritization, and acceptance how to over come it.

Tips:
Write everything down really helps, and a tip: don’t organize it yet—just dump it. The goal is to go from mental chaos to visible clarity.

Prioritization of tasks and ‘all the things’ –You don’t need to solve everything today. Seriously consider what needs to be done today, tomorrow and the next and fill out your day, and make sure you leave space your self care (a 15-minute walk, workout, reading a book, or listen to music).

Separate pressure from reality — When you feel overwhelmed, everything feels equally important—but it’s not.

The truth is everyone feels overwhelmed at some point – the trick is to get through it, not eliminate it so you can maintain your confidence, be great, and do great things.
