Jennie, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Discovering our purpose was deeply rooted in our personal experiences we formed during our time in the Military. As we faced numerous challenges like demanding work hours and unfamiliar environments, we found solace and strength in gathering around a table with trusted friends. This realization led us to understand the transformative power of shared meals and meaningful conversations. At Samara Table Co, we are driven by the belief that overcoming life’s obstacles is best achieved by fostering connections in the real world. By crafting exquisite tables of unparalleled quality at an affordable price, we aim to inspire and enable everyone to embrace the value of togetherness – it’s why our motto is: Be Together. Investing in a table from us transforms it into the heart of your home, creating opportunities for deeper and more profound memories with your loved ones.

At Samara Table Company, we started selling luxury custom furniture out of our garage as a husband and wife team. After 2 quick years, we’re now in an industrial production facility building products that bring people together all over the country!
What drives us is helping others. With an unwavering passion for adventure and creativity, we balance not one, but two, incredible careers. As active Military members with the Hurricane Hunters and as business owners, our lives are dedicated to helping others. Whether that’s helping others evacuate ahead of a hurricane or giving families a new table to build memories with.
Speaking of tables, we just launched our newest line of dining tables! It’s called the “Prism Round Dining Table’. After the last couple of years, people now appreciate time spent together with loved ones. Something we kept hearing from our customers was how they wanted to see everyone face-to-face at a round table – so that’s what we built! A round table, offered in 3 sizes, can accommodate all your friends and family with the ability to see everyone equally.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the most impactful advantage we had was our willingness to do what we were afraid to do. It’s become a saying in our house: Follow your Fears. We were super afraid of starting a business – it was very intimidating for two nerdy military scientists to take that leap of faith and follow the call to become entrepreneurs.
If you’re early in your professional career or personal growth journey and you’re looking to get the most out of it, remind yourself: the life you’re meant to live is where you’re afraid to go. Do something that scares you a little bit. That’s how you’ll pull ahead of the competition!
How would you describe your ideal client?
Our tables are built to facilitate building memories and cherishing loved ones. We would love the opportunity to put a table in the home of those who host and serve others.
If someone loves hosting celebrations, big or small, we want to celebrate their dedication to friendship.
If a family just welcomed a new baby and wants a quality table to last long enough to pass memories from generation to generation, we want the job!
If someone opens their home to host family for the holidays, we say: “everyone deserves a seat at our table.”
