Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jennifer Bressler. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jennifer , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
When I was about 11 years old I felt drawn to do my two sister’s hair, as well as my own. Back then there wasn’t any internet to show you set by step on the process. I would practice almost everyday how to do a braid and ever since became intrigued. I grew up thinking this is what I want to do and it made me incredibly happy to help people feel beautiful. As I grew older I have found myself realizing my purpose is far greater than just braiding, shampooing, coloring or blowdrying, it’s helping others and being there for them when they need it most.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a hairstylist that specializes in curly hair in North Las Vegas, NV. I have a deep desire to learn new things when it comes to hair, especially scalp health. I am currently working on getting a certification in Trichology with the International Association of Trichology. This will allow me to help clients who are in need of solutions with scalps issues and hair thinning/hair loss conditions. I believe in teaching and showing clients the importance of what we put on our scalps and on the hair in general.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Growing up, I faced challenges that taught me resilience early on. While it wasn’t easy, those moments shaped my ability to persevere and adapt. From those early struggles, I developed a deep sense of empathy, a strong work ethic, and the ability to see beauty in life’s imperfections. Motherhood amplified my capacity for patience, love and understanding. It taught me the importance of creating a nurturing environment, not just for my children but for everyone I care about. Through it all, I’ve learned the value of GENUINE relationships. I cherish the connections where vulnerability and trust allow people to grow together. These experiences have made me who I am today and that is someone who strives to uplift others, embrace growth, change and build authentic bonds in every aspect of life.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
I would say my husband Dan has helped me through some of the most difficult things and great things in my life. Throughout my journey, I’ve faced my share of challenges, but having my husband by my side has been the greatest blessing. His unwavering support has taught me the true meaning of partnership. He’s not just my rock but also my teacher, encourager and biggest advocate. Through him, I’ve learned the power of effective communication, the importance of seeking knowledge, and the drive to aim for success. His patience, wisdom and belief have pushed me to grow in ways I never imagined. I am so honored and grateful to have him as my husband because together we have built this life and a foundation of growth, love and resilience.
