We recently connected with Jennifer Busco and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jennifer , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Spirituality, music, and community have always been central to my life—things I’ve been drawn to and fascinated by for as long as I can remember. For me, finding my purpose has been about reconnecting with those early passions and recognizing their importance in my life. It wasn’t a sudden revelation, but more of a gradual unfolding as I became more attuned to what I was being drawn towards and what brought me the most joy.
As I followed those natural pulls—whether it was through healing work or immersing myself in music—I noticed a deep sense of alignment, a high vibrational energy, and a feeling of lightness. Those moments of connection became the markers that told me I was living in alignment with my purpose. And yet, I also realized that purpose isn’t static. It evolves as we grow, and each of those experiences—those things that make me feel alive—became stepping stones towards something bigger.
For me, it’s been a process of embracing the fluidity of purpose, staying open to the possibilities, and trusting that what I feel drawn to in each moment is guiding me exactly where I need to be.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Oh dear, I do a lot of things—how much time do you have? I’m a yoga teacher, intuitive energy healer, holistic practitioner, radio show host, and musician.
Yoga was the gateway to my own healing and spiritual journey. Since 2009, I’ve had the joy of teaching yoga and leading multiple teacher trainings. I absolutely love being a spiritual teacher, both in the yoga studio and in my healing sessions.
I work with the Dana Childs team, where I offer one-on-one intuitive energy healing sessions, either in person or remotely. I love this work because it’s a powerful way to help people on a deep level while serving humanity. Many people think energy healing is “woo-woo,” but it’s really about helping people feel seen, supported, and more at ease in their lives. Simply put, energy healing is about transforming fear within the body into love. This work creates a more healed and harmonious relationship with oneself, leading to less emotional and physical pain. It’s incredibly fulfilling to witness my clients’ transformations as they start experiencing life with less pain and more joy.
My latest endeavor is with the Montgomery Counseling Group, where I’m excited to be pioneering Integrative Therapy as a Holistic Practitioner. This trauma-informed approach uniquely blends traditional psychotherapy with holistic healing practices to support clients, including those dealing with PTSD. I’m thrilled because I don’t know of any other practice that combines the clinical and healing fields in this way, and I’m excited to contribute to evolving how we approach healing in Charlotte.
I’m also the host of “Oui Talk Raw” on rBeatz radio, where I interview groundbreaking individuals in the community from a healer’s perspective. Whether they’re musicians, healers, or individuals courageously living their purpose, I love connecting with people living in alignment. Archived episodes are available on rbeatz.com, with new ones released weekly.
Music is another passion. I enjoy singing and playing the ukulele, and I’ve had the pleasure of hosting open mic nights around Charlotte, North Carolina. Singing fills me with connection, joy, and freedom, and it’s a beautiful way to bring the community together.
Part of my purpose is to show the world how energy and healing can create a more joyful, fulfilled life. For anyone in Charlotte, NC, I’m hosting a workshop, Awaken Your Energy: A Journey into Healing, on December 14th from 4 pm to 5:30 pm at Charlotte Yoga. You can sign up at charlotteyoga.com or follow me @jjbusco on Instagram to learn more. I’d love to show you how non-“woo woo” this work is and how it can elevate your human experience!”

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I believe my three most impactful qualities are being intuitive, a community connector, and authentic. These qualities are deeply intertwined, and for me, they all come back to tuning into the subtle whispers—the way your body feels when you’re working, interacting with others, and seeking insight into yourself.
It’s really about cultivating a strong relationship with yourself and learning to slow down the noise of your thoughts. When you create that inner space, it becomes easier to connect with your own intuition, understand your needs, and foster more meaningful connections with the people around you. Being present and in tune with both myself and others is at the core of everything I do, whether it’s through healing, music, or community work.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
Simply put, if someone feels drawn to this work, that’s often their intuition—an inner knowing—that this will serve their highest good. When we feel pulled toward something, it’s usually guiding us to something greater. My ideal intuitive energy healing client is someone curious about spirituality and healing, who senses they may have patterns, beliefs, or emotions stored in their energetic body, ready to be processed, healed, or released. This person is open and willing to allow me to connect with their higher self, providing messages and guidance to help them live a lighter, more joyful life and attract healthier relationships.
