We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jenniffer Willis & Tatyana Sinn, Co-founders of Well Reserved. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jenniffer and Tatyana below.
Jenniffer, Tatyana, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?
For us, self-care has always been about connection and movement. It’s funny—Well Reserved actually started from a place of self-care. Before this was a business, we were two best friends, both getting ready for our weddings. Life was hectic, and we realized that fitness was one of the few things that made us feel centered. But it wasn’t just any workout; it was working out together that made all the difference. We held each other accountable, laughed our way through tough exercises, and celebrated small victories along the way. That shared experience took the pressure out of fitness and turned it into something joyful and essential.
Now, as business owners, self-care is still grounded in those moments of connection and movement. We continue to prioritize workouts, but it’s more than just fitness—it’s our time to reconnect with each other, to unplug from work, and to reset. Those sessions together keep us grounded, helping us clear our minds, which in turn, makes us better leaders. In creating Well Reserved, we wanted to bring that same quality to others: the magic of wellness that doesn’t feel like a chore, but rather, a celebration of self and connection. Self-care has been a compass guiding us, and it’s this practice of centering ourselves that makes us more effective in our journey, both personally and professionally.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
At Well Reserved, we’re on a mission to make wellness accessible, joyful, and community-driven. Our journey started as two best friends who, in the midst of life’s busyness, discovered the magic of working out together. We realized that fitness didn’t have to be a solo, rigid experience; it could be something social, something that enhances connection with others. From that realization, Well Reserved was born—a platform that brings personalized group fitness sessions to people’s preferred spaces, whether it’s a rooftop, backyard, or living room.
What makes Well Reserved so special is that it’s not just about fitness; it’s about creating memorable, shared experiences. We’re all about delivering wellness in a way that feels personal, uplifting, and—most importantly—fun. Instead of dragging yourself to a crowded gym or navigating strict schedules, you can enjoy a custom-tailored session with friends, family, or colleagues in an environment that feels right for you.
Recently, we’ve expanded our services to all major cities across the U.S., bringing our unique brand of fitness to more communities nationwide. This expansion is something we’re incredibly proud of because it’s a step closer to our vision: wellness that meets people where they are. Whether you’re on the East Coast, West Coast, or anywhere in between, Well Reserved makes it possible for you to prioritize health and joy in the company of the people you care about.
For us, this isn’t just a business; it’s a movement to redefine what wellness can look like. We’re focused on fostering community, celebrating connection, and making wellness something that people truly look forward to. We want folks to know that with Well Reserved, fitness is more than a workout—it’s an experience crafted with care, intention, and a whole lot of joy.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, there are three qualities that we believe were essential in shaping Well Reserved and making it what it is today: adaptability, a community-driven mindset, and resilience. Each of these qualities has guided us through the ups and downs of building a wellness brand from the ground up.
Adaptability has been crucial. Wellness trends are always evolving, and so are our clients’ needs. Being adaptable has allowed us to innovate, stay relevant, and expand to new cities. For anyone starting their journey, we recommend embracing change rather than fearing it. Try to view every challenge as a learning opportunity—flexibility can open doors you may not have considered.
Community-Driven Mindset is at the core of what we do. Well Reserved was created from a desire to share meaningful wellness experiences with others, and that focus on community has shaped every aspect of our business. For those early in their journey, prioritize relationships over transactions. Engage with people, learn their needs, and always focus on how you can add value to their lives. Building a community isn’t just good for business; it’s fulfilling and creates a sense of purpose.
Resilience has been our anchor. Entrepreneurship comes with constant challenges and moments of doubt, and resilience is what has kept us going. We’ve learned that it’s okay to make mistakes and experience setbacks, as long as we keep moving forward. Our advice? Find your “why”—that deeper reason you started this journey—and hold onto it during tough times. A strong sense of purpose can fuel your resilience and keep you motivated, even on difficult days.
For anyone just starting out, remember that skills can be learned, but qualities like adaptability, community-focus, and resilience are what will truly carry you through. Invest in developing these qualities, and the rest will follow.
